Does anyone know if Infamous 2 has some form of a release date, or at least some information?
Definitely in 2011. My guess is around February. But that is just a guess

I agree, Infamous 1 was an awesome game! One of my favorites!
Infamous two will have cole getting a type of ice power. He will also have all the same powers as the previous game
I know it's in 2011, and I think I've heard that it was in July also. But I hope for January 2011.

In issue 209, September 2010, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" (page 31); GI comments, "We're all for anything that makes their lightning-spewing protagonist look more like a bad-ass and less like a Euro techno-loving raver," regarding Infamous 2's new Cole.
I know GI isn't (and honestly shouldn't be) a left leaning, socially progressive, politically correct magazine; but I'd like to think that at least someone in the writing staff feels that "bad-ass" and "Euro techno-loving raver" don't have to be mutually exclusive.
Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps if you're a techno-loving, rave-going, European you are most definitely not a bad-ass. But it begs the question; if not bad-ass, just what do the writers at GI think Euro techno-loving ravers are exactly?
I didn't think this thread actually had anything to do with Infamous 2 except that GI mentioned Cole in the article. So I orignally posted this in the General Gaming form and then the Off-Topic forum. Both were immediately closed for being related to Infamous 2. So, here is my post. Did anybody get into the beta?
Yep, I did. It's 1944 MB so..it's pretty big. Gonna give it a try tonight and see how it is.
I got into the beta but the PSN is down, Thankfully Suckerpunch said the were extending it!!
I wish I could get into it. I signed up the first day, and checked my inbox madly everyday. I just don't think it's gonna happen lol.
You never know they did extend the beta and they are not done giving out codes, they think that would be mean since the PSN is down!! Good luck :)
