The lights are on
Shut up, say's my solo guns blazing squad member, your a noob and I'm the nicest. I used to always have my mic on, I love meeting gamers like myself but it's been a long time since I've meet a mature person that I can add to my friend list. Unless I'm on with my real friends or family my mic is off half the time, and if I want to meet new gamers I have to go to the forums. What happen, why are gamers becoming harder to mic up with, do you put up with it or do you respond back, or just keep you mic off and your volume down. Let me know, oh and that dude I mention earlier went 1-23, he was the nicest to somebody.
When I sign onto Xbox Live I find it even worse than on PSN. Often times there are kids just screaming as loud as they can or listening to deafening music, usually rap. But yeah, I think it has gotten worse as we reach the end of the console gen since so many people have them now. Also, it completely depends on what game you are playing I have noticed. Some are waaay worse than others.
Just join some Mature gaming groups, What I would do if I wanted to game with non-kids. Just make sure they are 18+ or are some what strict on who can join.
This is what I noticed too. I like to play MP with people who have mics. Sadly the majority are kids who don't know how to act right and think they're being cool or tough by being some annoying punk with their music cranked up above the game. Lately I've been going to forums looking for mature gamers with mics. I found one so far, lol.
