The lights are on
It will be interesting to see, as Ethan noted --- they seem to be aiming at a different and very specific kind of relationship now. Given that the last two games animated fairly well, it will be interesting to see how the PS3 carries those small things that go for miles.
This game is a system seller for me. Sure GoW III and Heavy Rain and all those other awesome games are coming out for the PS3, but the one that makes me need the system most is The Last Guardian. Hopefully it's at least as good as the last two games.
This game was a system seller for me. It's why I bought my PS3 a couple years ago. Of course backward compatibility is why I bought it at the time I did. Go 60 gigger.
While I (sadly) didn't play ICO, I played Shadow of the Colossus, and it quickly became one of my favorite PS2 games. They better not end the game in the expected (but no less sad) way that everyone thought at first. But, knowing Ueda, they will, and I will cry. If I did for Aggro, I will for....whatever that is.

i've never played any of these games but i'm gonna have to check out the last guardian perhaps simply off the hype. usually the hype is for good reason. don't let me down.
I never played Ico or Shadow of hte Colossus and really want to. Can't believe I missed those games last gen. : (
I too bought a PS3 for this reason (also Ratchet & Clank and MGS4).
This is one of the few games that are just begging me to get a PS3. I mean how can you resist that guardian's doe eyes?!?!?!
It's been around 3 months since anything was heard about the game (from an interview with Fumito Ueda that someone translated near TGS), but this is still my most wanted game in the second half of 2010.
I just started playing Shadow of the Colossus again, and the amount of emotions you feel during one colossi fight is still something that everyone needs to experience. The ending is one of the saddest scenes in gaming, yet still one of the best.
i have forgotten all about The Last Guardian but it was because of all the new game released this past fall and coming winter and spring. TLG is a ways from release so nobody has to think about it as much.
yeah i know...5 years seems like to much but i would wait twice that if it meant the game was that much better...
i'm still waiting for a release date. i've already pre-ordered mag(fully paid), and enough for one brand new game so i'm going with Demon's Soul but i would really hate to buy demon's soul only to find out the game is coming out soon.
hopefully(and it makes most sense) we'll know about its release a while before it comes out, really, what great game has ever had a surprise arrival? never hopefully cuz i'm poor lol.
how much do you guys wanna bet that this game isn't going to have the boy or the beast killed off? seems to obvious..
then again.. it might be one of those things where even though you expect it fully its just as powerful.
a game that can't be imagined or remembered perfectly is a truly great game in my opinion, they're something you can only experience.

Even though the ending is inevitable I almost guarentee I'm going to be heart wrechetdly sad...like when I watched Marley and Me (I'm serious)
CaNdLE + LiiGHT = OWNAGE
I havent played the first two but Im dying for The Last Guardian. Its going to be a good game. A good game about friendship.
i love both ICO & SotC
i cannot wait for The Last Guardian
ICO = one of my favorite games of all time. im so stoked for this game. the screen-shots look beautiful.
