As soon as I get the money for a PS3, this is what I'm going to pick up first.   I am a huge fan of Indigo Prophecy, even if I never got to finish it (had to take it back to Blockbuster).  But I bought it now, so all I have to do is wait for my console to come home.

But anyway, I'm stoked for this even if I can't play it for a while.  Glad to see that Quantic Dreams is picking up this type of gameplay again.

Assassin's Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Mass Effect 2....

All highly anticipated titles, and the prequels begged for sequels.

It's so refreshing to see someone take a new direction in gaming, rather than just develop "indigo prophecy 2".  The sequels (some of them being amazing) are wearing themselves out.

It looks incredible, I'll own it.

yeah i was a big fan of indigo prophecy and i am very excited for heavy rain. I'm interested to see how each characters story ties into each other. The graphics look amazing. i'm interested to see how the evidence mechanic works and how it effects the overall game play. I love the idea of being able to examine a crime scene for clues.

For those who haven't seen it yet, here's the latest trailer for Heavy Rain exclusive to Japan. Note that it is filled with possible spoilers. However, it should be safe enough to watch since it's not English:

So, what does everyone think of it? I personally think it's the best trailer they've produced so far, although again it's not in English...

On a slightly more random note, I have learned that when you install the game on your PS3's hard drive, it gives you instructions on how to make the famous origami bird in the game! Actually, here's a link to the instructions on how to make one right now:

Lol that's awesome about the install.  The trailer didn't really spoil much since it was in japanese (unless you can understand it), but that clown near the middle of the trailer scared the crap out of me.

I know, it's awesome right?

The game will actually include a square-shaped sheet of paper to do just that.

God the last part of the trailer scared the crap out of me. This looks like a awsome but disturbing game. I say that in a good way to.

If you go to the Heavy Rain Official Website, you will see a section called the "FOUR DAYS CHALLENGE."

Basically, it's an online campaign where the website sends you mysterious emails. Your goal is to piece together the clues and find the name of the killer before the campaign ends.

Right now, it's unclear whether there will be prizes or not, but I wouldn't miss the chance in taking a look at this if you're interested in the game.

Today is the day that the campaign begins, so I would sign up now if you can!

Those scenes look intense lol. I can't wait!

Wow you really have to make the character literally do everything.  This one has slow-burner written all over it.  I'm all for exploration and taking my sweet time in games but some parts seem way too slow even for me.  I'm guessing I'll enjoy the story-related gameplay parts but detest the in-between mundane stuff.  I'm leaning toward buying it but we'll see with the demo.
