1st- *** Gerard Butler, just cause he was in 300 does not mean he can can play Kratos.
2nd- I think Bill Goldberg would be pretty good, I mean he does look a lot like Kratos. Just gotta put him in that goofy ass skirt like thingy, those sandals, and slap some paint on him, and boom! Kratos. Am I right, right, or right?

Hollywood has never made a good video game movie. So they should just leave Kratos alone. But how about Adam Sandler?

i pretty much agree with everyone else in saying that Gerald Butler would be the best casting choice. I mean there isn;t that many other choices i can think of off the top of my head

Someone on the first page said it was rumored that Djimon Hounsou was rumored to get the part? If this is true, I am absolutely stoked. Gerard would've been acceptable, but has no one here seen the movie Blood Diamond? Yes, the black dude that stars in that movie is the alleged Kratos, which means two things.
1. Kratos WILL be an actual actor. (Gerard vs. Djimon I'd give Djimon the award)
2. Kratos WILL have a similar physique to what he had in the game, maybe just a bit more slender
This considered, I have to go against the common opinion. Djimon Hounsou gets my vote over Butler a thousand times over. Plus, it's obvious that Kratos' voice is played by a black dude (and the one from Final Destination 2, no less). XP
