Forum Post: The Sims 4- a new generation game for a new generation of gamers

So it's been about 3 years since the release of the Sims 3 and we are due for a fourth installment shortly. Or at least some information about it. Rumour has it that EA have already reserved the web address www.thesims4.com but that's all anyone has heard. All anyone knows is that it is definetely happening.

So I would like to know what everyone's predictions are. Or what you guys would like to see in the game. Or if you guys even think we should even have a forth.

well I can not offer much first hand experience but I think I can recommend several free to play games that might have what you are looking for.

Everquest 2, Lord of the Rings, and D&D online all have some sort of non combat classes. I believe all are free to play (EQ2 might not be yet but will be soon).

The Final Fantasy games have those classes but are not free to play so there is some investment upfront. I would stay away from FF14 as I have heard nothing but horror stories.

Another one you may want to consider is EVE online. It is not a traditional MMO. however it does have a huge aspect on its in game economy. You can be a miner, explorer, hauler, and a market trader. you can get a 14 day free trial of the game, but at some point you would need to buy in. Ive actually just started up the free trial myself. Its got a steep learning curve but nearly unlimited content.

I only recommended a 570 because I have personal experience with it and have been extremely happy. 1 will run on a 600w psu and come in about $100 cheaper than a 7950. I also tend to stay away from brand new series cards for 6 months or a year. It takes some time for manufacturers to work out all the kinks with the new technology, the prices also tend to be somewhat inflated do to demand.

I will give credit to AMD the new 7k series so far looks nice.

Yeah, that's what I'm fearing as well. We just have to trust Blizzard that they are indeed working on the PC version, and after that is all done and ready, then they will move on to the console version.

Im developing an indie remake/sequal in blitz3d and was wondering if the people of GameInformer had any interesting ideas for this classic game. For those who dont know what it is. It was the first networked FPS where happy faces roamed around a maze shooting eachother. So far ive added 3d graphics(obviously) and a killstreak structure.

Actually I just want to add in, some servers are stepping up and warning players not to "MAV ride" or they will get banned. Also DICE has said that they plan to fix the MAV riding, though not a definite time is released.

@GoldvsSilver like I said, the Support class is good but it has some kinks.

If you're good with it great; you're skilled at something that most players aren't. As for the Recon class I'm awful at using it but it has some pretty decent sniper positions. Just search "Battlefield 3 sniping" or something like that and try to see which perches are the best for you. :)

Basically just what Eyros said. I currently have an Corsair TX650W and it's a very good power supply and it has very good reviews. But any power supply from a good manufacturer should be pretty good.
