The lights are on
The subject line kind of sums it up. I'm desperately looking for any amount of views for my YT videos, which I put a lot of time (and hard drive space) into. Would ANYONE (literally anyone) watch these if I posted them here?
what are your videos about? Games obviously but are they reviews, first impressions, lets play, walk through or what? Personally I dont just watch youtube videos about games unless I am looking for something. Like when I was trying to figure out crusader kings 2 I went looking for tutorial vids/lets plays, however had I just come across those vids without plans on playing the game I would not have watched.
What I would recommend you do is watch for articles about a game you have a video of and then link a your video in the comments. Or start a blog discussing your videos and push them that way.

They're Let's Plays, with occasional commentary. I will take your suggestions to heart. I don't think anyone would read the blog (though I might make one anyway). They're of action games/shooters. Iill probably be doing a Tomb Raider one as close to launch as possible, so I think that one might get some attention.
I might watch some, post away.
Here's my channel. The Let's Plays are in the playlist called F.E.A.R. I will be posting two videos per day, and of many more games to follow.
So by a blog I was not talking on just some random website but here on GI. The blogs are actually far more active than the forums. If you push your channel in a respectable manner over there it will get far more views than it will on in the PC forums.
Good to know.
Oh, how long until my blog post actually shows up on the page with all the others?
