The lights are on
Really weird, must have found a major bug.
EDIT: It seems activitsion thinks this is a way to curb piracy to delay the PC version to get people to buy the console version.
It's only a couple of weeks, no way I'm making the same mistake again buying it on console (later buying it on pc).
Yeah I did that with L4D. So much better on PC.
Electronic Theatre is a UK game site. They are getting the game later than the US. I think this would've been news on GI or IGN by now if it were true.
God help Activision if it is true. I will be taking the day off I took to play the game to make a trip to the HQ.
EDIT: IGN has it reported as a Europe only delay.
ah well, the PC version of a game is always better than the console version (in my opinion, anyway)
As much as I like PC gaming I like XBL to much to get it on the PC. Though I think delaying it in a month full of great games is stupid.
im not trying to sound like a *** or an *** but why are the PC games better? i have a ps3, and im used to the controller all my life, so like out of curiosity (not to sound rude) but why is PC gaming better? very curious..
Free DLC and larger server capacity. On the PC their are up to 54 players in a server.
Yeah that is the one thing that has always bugged me how consoles limit it to 16 sometimes 32 tops. The free DLC is nice also of course.
Well I think games for the PC is kind of a mixed bag. On one hand you have all kinds of custom user created content that can only be played on the PC. See CustomCod.com. Also some people prefer the mouse for aiming. The downside is for those of us with lower end machines have a large disadvantage over those who are getting 100+ fps on the highest settings. With the console you know everyone is on an equal playing field. So all in all I prefer MP on the 360, and custom maps and mods on the CPU.
