Im new in this site!
I hope I can have some friends here!
I want to double my memory, quadruple my storage, overclock my processor or upgrade to a board that will let me unlock at least one more core. I want a second 28" monitor and to jump from a 3850 to a 4850. I also want a capture card or tuner that'll let me play my Wii and other systems in 480p through the monitor.
Just keep on posting guys!
Thanks to all!
Well, mine really isn't anything to wright home about:
Intel E6300 1.86 Dual Core CPU
2 gig RAM DDR2 667 mhz
XFX 8600 GT XXX vid card.
Not the greatest but still plays the games I like, just not at UBER settings which is fine. My monitor only does 1280x1024. Hey! I just remembered it'll be 3yrs old next month. Happy Birthday PC!
Mine isn't all that special. If you want to get your complete computer specks. (Assuming you have an xfire account) log into xfire.com. Near the upper left hand side, it will say profile. Go to your profile, and scroll down. Something should say "Gaming Rig" and a link should be upload rig. Wait a few moments, and come back and there you are. You will need to fill in other things, like Computer monitors, speakers, computer case etc. There you go! copy and paste and you have all your stats
My gaming rig consists of the following.
2.7ghz quad core processor
4 GB DDR2 Ram
a Blue Ray DvD burner combo
An Nvidia 780i sli motherboard
2 nvidia geforce 9800 gtx video cards (BFG) running in sli mode
a 1200 watt power supply
and a 32 inch high definition tv running as my monitor.
We got to custom build them around 4 months ago , when i was in my last semester at college.
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.5 GHz
6 GB DDR3 Ram
BFG Geforce 9800 GT 1GB DDR3
550 Watt Power Supply
I have a quick question, can I use a 32" lcd tv as a monitor without any complications with this setup or would I have to upgrade my pc?
sda you would be able to use it on your lcd tv with no complications, you will either need a dvi to hdmi cable or you would need the hd svideo type cable with the green red and blue component cabels, you will however have to use the nvidia control panel to resize your desktop.
alright thanks alot

Mine can only run basic games like The Sims 3 and Spore, NOT HD games... It's mainly due to the graphics card...

4GB of RAM
Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 @ 2.10GHz @2.10GHz
Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family Accelerator

For $750, I thought what it offered was reasonable enough, especially since I didn't plan on playing HD video games of my PC, but rather on my video game consoles...
