The lights are on
Trying to oc my 3570k to at least 4.5ghz with no luck. It's completely different than what i'm used to on AMD, not really sure where to start. I'm able to achieve 4.3 but that's only adjusting the cpu ratio and leaving voltages at auto, every time I mess with voltages it's a failure to boot or bsod, so I'm thinking there's something else I need to change, just not sure what or maybe I need more voltage than what I believe to be safe with an Intel CPU. I can provide screen shots of all potential bios settings if need be. OC genie gets me to 4.2ghz, so 4.3ghz seems weak sauce.

I have an old 920, so I am guessing things have changed. I would say your best bet is to ask over on tomshardware. The few times I have gone there they have been very helpful. They have a fairly large overclocking community. You can also check this.
