The lights are on
I'm thinking about buying Skyrim for steam due to the easier ability to mod then on other platform, actually the only way to mod.
Anyway I checked my specs and I have the minimum requirements but I only have 512 mb of RAM for my video card and it requires 1 GB for optimum experience, I was wondering if my computer will still run it, but I will just have to play it on lower settings. or should I just get it for console
just get a video card with the required gaming ram needed.
Need to know far more about your system. Normally if you dont make minimum it is best to stay away. Most companies purposefully have very low minimum specs where the game may run but at terrible frame rate (fool a few people get a few sales).
We're sorta like 7-Eleven. We're not always doing business, but we're always open.

I should mention this is a laptop, I don't have a desktop yet, but I mean soemtime in the future I plan on building a PC rig. I just haven't the money nor the time.
It may function a bit. Your 6 gigs system memory is shared with your gpu. It is all integrated and shared. I would not expect much though.
The good thing is you can always pick the game up now and then later install it on your new computer, especially easy if you buy it on Steam. I would probably watch for a sale and pick it up then.
