The lights are on
Looking to get some more performance out of my PC. Trying to decide whether to add another 660ti to my rig or upgrade my AMD platform to Intel. Hasewell is just around the corner so I can wait just not sure if it makes any sense over Ivy Bridge or Sandy. I know I can get a huge boost in performance by adding another gpu and it would be cheaper, but i'm not satisfied with my FX 6100... can't decide. Budget is $450-$500 for CPU and MOBO.

With the sometimes unpredictable nature of SLI, I personally would probably be putting the cash toward a newer platform. Further, I've learned the hard way not to jump on the first generation of processors for a new socket, so honestly I'd steer you toward an Ivy Bridge. Heck, the 3570k is even on sale at the moment ;P
I went ahead and took advantage of that sale about an hour ago. lol.
