@NekuRulez Nintendo already made third-party games available for registration on Club Nintendo. I don't blame you for not knowing that because a LOT of people don't know, but third-party games are there.

If I was the CEO of Nintendo, I would, first of all, surpass the competition hardware-wise. A lot of people keep saying the Nintendo is behind hardware-wise, which is true, but that can easily be fixed. The Wii U is taking a big leap in the right direction, but Microsoft and Sony will see what the Wii U offers and they will top that. Then, Nintendo will still be behind. They need to make a giant leap with the most advanced technology so they can be ahead of the competition.

I would also revive older franchises. Games like Earthbound have been left in the dust and untouched for many years. Some games, like Kid Icarus, have been revived, but other games, like Earthbound, desperately need to be revived. I would, at least, make 3D Classics: Earthbound first. Then, I would take the older franchises and revive them both digitally and physically.

After that, I would offer more gaming experiences in the first-party games. I would make the games take advantage of highly advanced technology while adding new elemets that add to the gameplay.

Next, I would majorly expand the virtual game stores. Instead of a few hundred games in the Wii Shop/eShop/DSiShop, why not have a few thousand games? How about ten-thousand games? Also, instead of updating the virtual game stores once a week, why not update them twice a week? The only problem would be the games being developed, but that can be an easy fix, especially with a virtual console section.

Then, I would give Club Nintendo a major update. I would make it be able to store data in your own personal account. You can use it to do many things that are useful. For example, if you have two Wii Us and they are both under one account, Club Nintendo will allow both Wii Us to download the same things. What I mean is, you could download Mario on one Wii U and Club Nintendo will let the other Wii U download the same thing for free. I know, it's more of the old technology but it is desperately needed.

Finally, I would give you the ability to subscribe for a digital subscription to Nintendo Power. Some people, like me, can't get it physically because of their location, so if it was digital it would be able to get more people to read it.

That's a tall order. Not only don't Nintendo fans support 3rd party games, they also tend to ignore whenever Nintendo dares to try something different. Hence the poor sales of Eternal Darkness on the GameCube (best title on that system) and Sin & Punishment on the Wii.

I don't think Ocarina of Time qualifies as a "full-on" remake. It's almost exactly the same as the original except the textures are sharper. StarFox64 was more of a remake since they overhauled the textures of the whole thing.

I've been a member since they started with Club Nintendo (I was a member of Nintendo's site prior) and have gotten a few cool prizes. Game & Watch Ball is definitely one of the better ones, but I also enjoy the Platinum prizes I have gotten each year as well. I'm quite partial to the figurines and such.

Lately, my friends have really wanted me to buy either Pokemon Black or Pokemon White, but i'm not sure if I should or not. I used to play Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, and I loved both of those games. Now, i'm just not sure, mainly because i'm not into Pokemon as much as I used to be.

Do you think I should buy it? If you think I should buy one of them, then which one should I buy?

Even though the online play disappointed me to no end, it has to be Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I played it for hours on end and I even put in the other day and it's still a lot of fun!

I play on my Wii every weekend (because my parents (I'm 15 years old) only let me play video games on weekends (including fridays after school), days that I'm sick, or other days I have off from school)) but I use it almost every day (for Netflix)

Duuuuuuuuuuuude... If you really love the 3DS, buy 3rd party games! If all you buy are the things Nintendo churns out, you're just going to help convince 3rd party devs to abandon the system the way all the fanboys did with the Wii!

Sorry, I don't have any codes for you. Besides, if I did, I would have already used it. Anyways, I don't think you should get Majora's Mask from the Wii Shop. Nintendo said that if there is a high volume of demands for a Majora's Mask 3D remake, then they will make The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D.

I have Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and Endless Ocean is not a 3rd party game--it's a Nintendo game.

What this thread is really about is what everyone else is playing on the Wii--if anything at all--during this massive drought until Xenoblade launches. I'm probably one of the most knowledgeable, if the most knowledgeable on here concerning Wii 3rd party games since my collection of roughly 50-60 Wii games is almost entirely 3rd party, hardcore-focused gaming.

What's everyone else playing catch-up with? What's everyone else looking for? Now is a great time to find a lot of overlooked 3rd party gems, brand new, for very low prices.

This drought is as good an excuse as any for everyone to be catching up on the things they either missed or (perhaps) foolishly ignored.

I like Dream Trigger despite how somewhat awkward it can be, but there are too few shmup style games on the system thus far. I'd recommend Nano Assault. It's not as large as Dream Trigger, but there's more variety and it's very pretty.
