The lights are on
I cant decide if i should get Meteroid zero or metroid fusion, can anyone help me?
Fusion for sure. The story is more exciting, the game mechanics are almost completely fresh and new, and the overall game is just better. Zero Mission is just a remake of the original Metroid, and though it is good, I thought Fusion was quite a bit better.
Having played both one after the other, I can tell you that you should definitely purchase both. However, if you can only afford one, make it Zero Mission. There's so much jampacked into that cart, and if you've played the original Metroid the game will play with your nostalgic memories quite a bit!
Metroid Fusion is also a good game, but it's more linear in design and a story has been incorporated... you can read what Samus is thinking to herself as she progresses through the game. Not to mention the game is a little like Resident Evil 3 Nemesis in that you are constantly being hunted by a doppleganger of yourself, which makes for some pretty intense moments!
It's a me, Mario!
Fusion. Even though Zero had better graphics, it was just a remake of the original. Fusion had a completely new, interesting storyline, and it was beautiful.

Want to play League of Legends?
They're both incredible games for different reasons. Zero Mission is set up to encourage speed runs, though the last section of the game kind of chugs along. Fusion is canonical, has a good plot, good pacing, and great gameplay. I prefer it in the long term, but ZM is great in bite-sized chunks.
How often do you think about the air you breath? Oxygen: Gas of life or secret military death vapor?
If you can only get one, get Fusion, the story is much better. But if you can, get both.
I had more fun with Fusion.
I guess it depends on whether you want a narrative story or not. Story in a game is normally a good thing but in something like Metroid it's tricky to find the balance you like (couldn't stand all the *** cutscenes and dialogue in Prime 3, myself).
If you don't mind a bare minimum story with a full open map at all times in classic Metroid fashion, get Zero Mission.
If you want a narrative story and don't mind a more level-based progression, get Fusion.
Hmmm, probably Fusion. I've heard it's better. Fusion is one of the best Metroid's out there!
Metroid Fusion easily.
