The lights are on
With the upcoming release of HG and SS I was wondering how many people are still into Pokemon and what got them into it or what generation they started in. I myself started in the beginning and am still a fan of the Normal catch em battle games. Not so much the dungeon explorers ones. My favorite is Charizard and I tend to always pick the fire started until Diamond because I didn't like the monkey. Anyway how about everyone else.
I received red and blue for christmas and I played red and my brother played blue. I've played a game from every generation since then and am enormously excited about HG and SS. I'm gonna get HG, cuz I had gold way back when.
when i was around six i had a babysitter named josh. he wanted to get rid of his pokemon red and handed it down to me. i have been hooked since and am proud.
Was, but didn't want to buy a DS so haven't played since then.
I got my blue version I believe for my birthday, not really having any idea what it was, but I was instantly hooked. Now I own a good majority of them (Red, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Pearl). I've lost some interest in it, but every once in a while I'll pop one in one of my games and beat it again (recently did it with Yellow actually). I was actually thinking about getting SS in the future.
I still have hundreds of Pokemans... would you like me to show you them?
My first was Pokemon Red with a matching red GameBoy Pocket.
I only have one Pokemon left on my Pokedex: Kabutops...
I got Mew with the glitch hidden in the game, where you don't fight two particular people throughout the whole game until you learn FLY, go to Lavender town, go left, and WHAM! Mew appears!
If you look it up on Google/Youtube, I'm sure you can find it! This doesn't work with Yellow Version or (should I even say it) the GBA remakes.
As for Gold/Silver, its internal battery that's supposed to save the game died, like many other people's. Fortunately, I got its battery replaced from a friend for $5.
As for Ruby/Sapphire, I am still missing like 150 Pokemon...
As for Diamond/Pearl, I only have about 90 Pokemon left, mainly from the G/S era, which should be covered with that remake coming out soon! Right?
I started playing Pokemon back in Kanto with Blue Version on the brick gameboy, I loved the game and have had every version since. I started back in 6th grade when the game first came out and I've since graduated from college and yes I still play, and when some people call me a dork or loser for this fact all I can say it "it's a very addicting game"
Ahaha everyone has something that makes them a dork even the jocks and cheerleaders. But my first game was red and with a matching gameboy pocket as well. I received Silver in 1999 for my birthday as a japanese import and I was the coolest kid around. I still have it along with red, blue, english silver, crystal, fire red, pearl, platinum, and soon Soul Silver as its reserved. There's nothing bad with still liking it in my opinion. Now if you're into the show and want to name your kids after pokemon or something that sounds like too much to me XD
I started when Ruby and sapphire came out. After a while, I stopped playing and my brother took my place as pokemaster. He's gonna get HG and SS and maybe I'll play it.
I'm definitely still into Pokemon. I started with G/S/C .
As for HG/SS, I'm ecstatic and can't wait. I've gone and gotten myself all hyped up for them, so this is going to be a hard winter for me, even though I live in the south.
Haha for nostalgic reasons i ordered an import copy of SS to go along with my original Japanese Silver. It seemed appropriate since I consider them the best of the Pokemon games.
I dont understand why you are showing your Halo account when you are bad.
1: I share my account with 2 brothers.
2: I don't care. I can do what I want.
3: This bothers you how?
4: This thread is not about my Halo Career nor your lack of intelligence so I will leave that there.
5: It's about Pokemon and thats clearly stated.
6. Neo is a pansy and I don't understand why anyone would want to have a pansy for an avatar.
