The lights are on
Mario 64 is available for 200 club nintendo coins this month and I'm thinking of picking it up. I'm always a bit concerned about how controls are mapped for VC games, though, so can someone tell me how it plays on a gamecube or classic controller?
Is it safe to assume the buttons are mapped so it plays pretty much like Sunshine on a cube controller? Does this mean jump and attack are A and B on a classic controller and not Y and B?
Is than anything frustrating about the layout, because if so I will just keep playing my N64 copy. Otherwise I'm thinking I might pick it up on the VC.
I havent played it myself but I remember reading something about how the GC controller is rated overall better then the classic controller because the GC controller has a more natural grip on it. I know they reviewed it a while ago on IGN, so im sure they touch upon the controller layout in the review.
