The lights are on
As we get closer to E3 the Nintendo will finally give us an official release date and price for the Wii U. Because of this I would like to know what you believe the price that the Wii U is going to cost and also what you are willing to pay for the Wii U.
This is pretty tough question. I know it's not going to be cheap, but Nintendo has always been pretty good with prices. I know that controller is going to be expensive, and depending on the tech specs it may be even more. If the launch and post launch release is good, then I'll pay $250~$399. I'm willing to bet that's the price range we're looking at, but any more than that and I'll just wait for a price drop.
I know I'll get one eventually, I tend to get everything because of exclusive titles. But I'm going to wait for all announcements before I choose my main console.

Rainheart, I'll never forget you.
i agree with monster hunter. ill probably pay 249$-349$. any higher than i`ll wait for a price drop. but knowing nintendo, thay are reasonable with prices, WII was 200$ at launch with good launch titles. and the WII U seems to have perfect launch titles(Aliens,Darksiders 2,nija gaiden 3?)
Their price will probably be like $300-$500. I probably won't get it on launch, but maybe during Christmas. The true reason I would obtain it, is for a Metroid Prime Trilogy HD recollection and other upcoming Nintendo games.

It'll be $300.
That's not that bad... I'd probably get it if it's that cheap.
I'm expecting $299-$399, and I'm willing to pay that assuming the launch titles are good, and by that I mean the exclusives ones (as far as I'm concerned, exclusives are what decided whether to buy a console or not anyways)

I already posted the price. You would have been wise to read the thread before trying to guess on something that's considered "known."
That's like predicting a Tombstone pizza will cost $3-6 when the price is listed right in front of you.
Whoa! That is a good price! Also heard something about Super Mario Bros. Wii U being at E3. If they mention Metriod, I will put this on my radar for christmas.
