If I had a 3DS I would get Super Smash Bros. if it were to be released.

Colors! 3D.

if anyone knows of Colors! for the DS (homebrew) they will know, and more then likely buy, Colors! 3D.

I am going to get the following retail 3DS games:

1. Mario Tennis Open

2. Animal Crossing 3D

3. Paper Mario 3D

4. Luigi's Mansion 2

5. Kingdom Hearts 3D (Maybe)

6. Super Smash Bros.

Right now, I am only planning on one downloadable game that hasn't been released yet and that is Colors! 3D.

EDIT: How did I forget to add Fire Emblem: Awakening? That game is also in my list.

1. Kingdom Hearts 3D (I've been waiting SO long for this game...)

2. Monster Hunter 4

3. Mario Tennis Open

4. Smash Bros (although this is probably aways off)

6. Any RPG by Monolith (Xenoblade looks amazing, I would love to have something like that on the 3DS)

Fire Emblem: Awakening was announced at TGS 2011. I'm not exactly sure if it is coming to the U.S or not, but I am going to email Nintendo and ask them about that. Hopefully, it will get released in the U.S. Also, I highly recommend that you try a game in the Fire Emblem series. I have Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on my 3DS (via the Ambassador Program) and it is so fun!

I am getting Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance (aka KH 3D)....Also gonna get Pokemon Conquest...I need to get Kid Icarus as well....

I'm hoping it's like normal Contra and not that off-shoot Hard Corps Uprising.  I didn't care for that sluggish gameplay or those stupid anime graphics.  

Contra ReBirth and Contra 4 on the other hand--both wonderful games.
