The lights are on
I would like to see Heroes of Might & Magic III brought to the DS. I wouldn't even care if it was a direct port, that game has a lot of replay value and would go very well with the style of the DS.
I think all of my choices are already posted: Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VI, Donkey Kong Country. I'd also like to see Super Mario All-Stars. I never get tired of the original Mario games, and to have those in one would just add some convenience.
Plants vs Zombies! you can use the touch screen for it!
It's not a Nintendo game, but I'd like a sequel or something to "Skies of Arcadia". I think a sequel or spin-off that would be played like "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" would be pretty fun. Oh, and "Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi" should be ported and translated into English.
@juniormints---add side-scrolling Metroid goodness to my list, though I'd rather see an original title than a remake.
@srkelly---I'm reasonably certain the DSi cannot do anything games-wise the DS Lite or DS Original cannot.
I'd want most of the stuff already mentioned, like DK Country or FF V or VI. Super Metroid is a classic I would love to see remade for DS as well.
A Super Smash Bros DS is an instant buy for me if it were made, just as long as it doesn't force touch screen controls.
Zelda: Link's Awakening DX from the GBC days. Still my favorite handheld Zelda game.

Well my two choice are already coming. Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. I guess I'll just say it would be nice to get Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Crystal...actually I would like to see a new Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pinball just for fun. Also just for the wii part...Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 or just come out with a legit 3 for Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
It's really disheartening that I have yet to find a Bomberman game on the DS. Either give us the classic arcadey Bomberman formula, or a platforming adventure a la Pocket Bomberman for the GBC.
Braid,I haven't played it but it looks interesting
Also a new 2D Metroid
And GunStar Heroes.
World of Goo.
I'd love to see a remake of Metroid 2 from the original Gameboy. Other than that, I think it would be so awesome to get Rocket Knight Adventures going again!

The DSi has a processor clocked at twice the speed of either the DS Lite's or DS Phat's. It has 4x the amount of ram and it still plays games at the same resolution. That means that 67 Mhz becomes 134 Mhz in a DSi (it's really 133 Mhz) and 4 MB's of ram becomes 16 MB's of ram. More ram means larger worlds and more objects, and the faster processor speed means it can handle more tasks. How about a procedurally rendered race track with 8 racers moving at very high speeds? Or they could be fully loaded tracks like most games. That extra boost in power really makes a DSi exclusive version of F-Zero much more delicious.
The Opera browser has seen a nice boost in performance because of these specs. The DSi also has two camera's. If you analyzed the movement data for games you'd have instant motion controls. Dependin upon the lighting and where you are they could either be perfectly accurate or very off. At the very least the movements of a car or a bus shouldn't interfere with it.
Because of the music player and the SD card slot, DSi exclusive games can also feature custom sound tracks and we can finally have games like Beats or games that really let us mess with our music on a DS system. Games like that recent Wifi Treasure one can now properly recognize wpa and wpa2 networks, but only in DSi mode if they're developed for it. At the very least it also means that there are more networks DSi exclusive games can connect to, which means more places to get online and play.
The DSi has plenty of potential to do things "gamewise" that the first set of systems cannot do.
The beauty of my muscles will warm your heart.
pokemon crystal version.
Final Fantasy VI would be good enough for me!

Ocarina of Time would be awesome, but there aren't enough buttons on the DS. My second choice would be Super Smash Bros.
