The Mario Kart games have not been good since double dash, so Super Mario 3D land.

hmmm assuming mario kart isnt overloaded with weapons and bouncing around from first to last like mario kart wii was, i would say go with mario kart over 3dLand, which sounds insane, but i find myself pouring alot of hours into every mario kart game simply for the multiplayer. im not even a big fan of mario kart wii yet i still have poured a good amount of hours into that game. plus the 3d should be amazing, so thats a nice bonus.

It depends on whether you like gaming on DS better by yourself or on multiplayer.

Mario 3d land got a 9.5 so I'd go with it.

i'd get mario kart for the wi-fi mode.i dont know for sure if 3D land has one but there's a safe bet that mario kart 7's online multiplayer will have you playing the game for hours on end...

Well, it depends on what you want out of both games. Are you looking towards playing the adventure of Super Mario 3D Land? Or do you want to go for playing with others online with Mario Kart?

I recently bought 3D Land and it is a great game and it's worth picking up. I think I can say the same thing with Mario Kart. That's up to you to decide on what you think will be worth more of your time, playing with others online or playing adventure

Get Super Mario. You can't have a Nintendo system without a super mario game. Get it first

I bought both 3D Land and Kart 7 and have been enjoying them both. I would say its really up to you.

well now that i have gotten a 3ds and 3dland i can definitely recommend 3d land. i thought the first few worlds were by the numbers, but then it more fun but still a tad disappointing BUT THEN i unlocked the 9 secret worlds, AND THEY ARE INSANELY FUN!!!! much more challenging and far better platforming than the actually main worlds. it bumps the game from a 7.5 to a 9 for me.
