honestly, rent mw1 for both bc if you just wanna play single player you can beat it in one sitting. the mp is really fun if you wanna know how that is too.

The Wii version, while a good effort, seems to be...just too little. There are still tons and tons of people playing the PS3 version, and you'll be getting better graphics (meh) and, most importantly, a less clunky control scheme and matchmaking program. Plus you'll be able to find it for cheap.

Well, I've found Wii's to be terrible for online matchmaking (duh), and thanks to the idiot who thought it would be cool to invite friends by entering a 16-digit code instead of an avatar name, it makes playing with friends seem like an impossibility on it. I can only guess that the campaign on the Wii will actually be more intuitive and enjoyable, but the multiplayer may have trouble, and like dbull said, I don't think Wii's will host party invites or messages. I don't know how it works because honestly I think they're terrible for online play as well as being social with people. I would try it if I could afford it, but I honestly think it would be best to stick with the PS3 version. I would however prefer to spice it up, so if you pick the Wii, it might be fun. But, sniping with a Wii controller is tough as hell, lemme just say that.

Okay. So which version is funner? i mean looks cool to control your character with the wiimote, but the PS3 version has good graphics. i really am curious to Reflex. i have beaten MW2 and played the first MW at my friends house online. i love them, but, should i play it safe with the graphics and all and go for the original game on PS3 or try something new and get the Wii version?

Reflex doesn't use friend codes, and supports party invites.

I've got a PS3 and COD4, so I just checked by entering a team deathmatch server. There are definitely still people playing COD4 on the PS3. Plus, I don't know if the Wii version supports party invites, not to mention using friend codes is a pain in the ass.

I'd recommend getting it on the PS3, but if you're really looking more at competitive multiplayer you're probably better off getting MW2.

By the way, don't double post or triple post just because someone doesn't reply right away.

I'm looking for a suggestion here.

DO you think i should get Call of Duty 4 on PS3 or Wii.

i saw the wii trailers and i have played some online in the first but I don't own it.

I bought Modern Warfare 2 and wan to know what happened first,

I saw the wiii trialers and was quite interested on how this gmae works on the system, and I thought it would be fun on Wii.

What do you think?

Here is some advantages and disadvantages of each I figure.

COD 4 on PS3

Good:

HD graphics

Fimiliar controls

Bad: Who is playing this anymore,

I figure if the sequels out who will play the first anymore?

Reflex:

This is a new game to Wii owners, and if i'm lucky, most of them should stink at this game if all they have been feeding on is Mario. So i'm also sure people will play this.

New unique controls.

Bad: No HD.

Occasional control glitches.

I've watched several videos of this game over the past few days, and I'm impressed. The graphics are better than WaW in terms of textures and flares(?) e.g. explosions, smoke, etc.

Also, 10 player MP from 8. More maps than regular MW and modes, it's pretty much a win, win situation.

The graphics are fairly similar to the 360 and PS3, too. So honestly, the Wii version is practically superior in all other ways.
