Let me put it this way... I waited over night in front of BestBuy for the Wii... Got a whole lot of games and gear for Christmas... And sold all of it by February.

It had the potential to be the strongest system out there but it failed to do so in most ways. The Motion controls range for unimportant to down right broken. I almost get angry when I see the marketing that they use where they sell games and periphriels that will do roughly half of what they claim to do, knowing some people will trust in them and buy the games anyway. The periphriels are a real problem, and make me wonder how much help Nintendo gives to 3rd party devs, because it seems like 1st part title are the only ones worth considering, but even that is slowly dwindling. I feel sad that I feel this way, as I've had every console from Nintendo, but this honestly makes me consider how much more money I will spend on the company in the future.

The wii is not worth your time unless your ten or under. It will amuse you for the first hour or so, but then you will be bored out of your mind. Go with a 360. Theres better games and more of a selection. Motion controles are over rated.

I sold my Wii so i could get my hands on a 360. Sorry if that upsets anybody, but it's the truth. I've outgrown what Nintendo has to offer. I bought the console two years ago, and played some fantastic games over that period of time. I've played hours upon hours on Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime: Corruption, and Super Mario Galaxy.

But the truth is, the kind of games that Nintendo makes just don't make me want to play more. Sure, Zelda is awesome but if they only release one every 5 years then what am I waiting around doing? While the Wii is loaded with all these childish and casual games, and some people like that, there's really not much I can do on the Wii that I can't replace with a 360. Besides motion control, which, in my humble opinion, is more of a gimmick to stand out than an actual gameplay mechanism.

All in all, I'm much more satisfied playing Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gears Of War, Orange Box, and Fallout 3 than the occasional quality title Nintendo puts on the shelves.

Come on people. There may not be as many great games for the Wii as there are for the competing consoles, but that doesn't mean it's only two or three games. I could easily name ten great Wii games without much thought at all.

Contrast that with STARS Officer, though, who lists a ton of titles even though many of them aren't of such great quality and I think we hit a balance. Try and land somewhere in the middle, people.

The Wii has way more good games than MP3 and Zelda. I didn't even like those games. I'll help you all open your eyes to find a few more good games on the Wii.

Yeah, there are very few good games for the Wii. And I don't see very many other good games coming out for the wii quite yet. Except for Epic Mickey...

I don't know. Right now, the only reason why I like the Wii is for the Virtual Console. If they can produce more good games for the Wii, maybe I'd lke it a little more.

Just like you said, there really isn't much to the Wii other than Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, The Conduit, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, although I definitely prefer Super Smash Bros. Melee in this case.

I think the system is fundamentally flawed. The motion controls are its main selling point (this is my opinion based on how Nintendo markets the system), and yet all the top tier games on the sytem (Zelda, MadWorld, Smash Bros etc) would be equally as fun on any other console. It seems as though you are playing last-gen games on a current-gen system with a gimmicky controller. And lets not forget all the shovelware.

Well I have had my Wii for awhile now and I have younger siblings that adore the games I would use for paper weights, but there are a few games that are worth it like Legend of Zelda, Metroid and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's about a 6 or 7 for me.

The Wii is pretty awesome. It has some excellent titles and Nintendo is still my favorite industry on the market. Motion controls, excellent 1st party support, and a place to buy old games to play on the new system (Wii Shop Channel).

The Wii is a great system. Nintendo has once again created a type of gameplay (motion controls) that will be followed, copied, and improved upon by the competition. It introduced a new way to play old games. The best thing I think it accomplished is that it leveled the playing field. Meaning it brought everyone, beginner gamers and long time hard core gamers, to the same starting line.

I grew up on nintendo systems, so my loyalty has always been there, and that's what led me to getting a Wii. However, I have several friends with 360s and I find myself liking the game selection better. I've been looking into getting one for a while now. Also, the motion control aspect is wearing thin on me. I do enjoy the Wii, but I guess I wish the graphics were a little better, as well as the quality of the game library.

I give the Wii 7/10.

The graphics are decent. I'm not gonna say a game is terrible because of bad graphics. That's stupid.

Playability of each game is very similar, which is always nice because that way there's never a whole lot of change from game to game.

1st party games are the best, next to the majority of Sega and Capcom releases.

The fact that the Wii is also a GameCube is great! Now I get to play all 10 of the best GC games I didn't get to play because I didn't have a GameCube! But it's lacking because once you go to GameCube mode, there's no going out without hitting the power button... lame.

The Virtual console is nice, but I wish there was more Player and Nintendo involvement. Instead of just putting up random VC games, make polls to see which games most Wii owners would like to see on the VC. I wanna see more N64 titles, preferably Smash Bros. And Resident Evil wouldn't be bad, by any means.

WiiWare is nice, but needs a demo mode. Spending money on a game that sounds nice is the trick. I've wasted $30 on WiiWare games.

Motion controls, I love them for the most part. The ability to use this cool controller called a Classic Controller, is a really nifty feature so that not everyone has to use motion for some games. My brother uses a CC for Mario Kart Wii, I use WiiMote and Chuck. Me and my brother use a CC for Brawl, and my friend likes the Wiimote and Chuck. The GameCube controller is also a nice feature for many games.

First Person Shooters. Everyone knows the Wii's motion is the ultimate formula for a great FPS game, but we have yet to see a flawless one. The Conduit and COD:WaW are far from amazing.

I like how the Wii has some mature rated titles, while at the same time, fun games that might appeal to a younger audience. Mario titles are timeless and fun. The only people I know that hate Mario games are those "hardcore" gamers that play FPS games all day because Mario is way too hard for them. Honest!

The Channels are pretty cool. If anything, I really wanna see more channels. I would want a channel like YouTube and something like NetFlix or whatever it's called. Also, a demo channel would be nice. And a Flash Games channel for playing games from Addicting Games, MiniClip, FunOrb and everything. All with buddy lists and whatnot. I think the Channels have great potential, they just need the right minds to make them.

I like how small the Wii is. For a little system, it packs one hell of a punch.

I'm not sure what else I can say. I own Wii Sports Resort, and I do play that by myself sometimes. Most of the time I play the Wii, I'm by myself, and I get a lot of joy out of it. I've been putting in several hours into my Wii over the past few weeks.

The only problem I see in the system, is the calibration. The Wii Remote should be able to recalibrate itself before every game, not just with Wiimotion plus games.

As for the Wii HD, it's all rumors. If there is a Wii HD coming out in 3 years, I'll buy it without a doubt, granted it has backward compatibility with the GC and the Wii.
