The lights are on
I'm generally a PC gamer, and on occasions I play my xbox but I decided to pass up the Wii when it released.
Now I'm considering buying one for one sole purpose-Skyward Sword.
As a child, I grew up playing Nintendo consoles such as the N64 and Gamecube. The legend of Zelda was my favorite game, I played it everyday. After seeing how well rated Skyward Sword was, I wanted to play it for myself. I feel bad that I'm missing out on not only the biggest video game franchise of all time, but one of my fondest childhood memories as well. This is my problem though. I don't like spending a lot of money, but if I do I want to get my money's worth. I really want to be able to play Skyward Sword, but I don't want to spend loads just to do so.So my question is this; what titles make the Wii stand out? What other games should I buy along with Skyward Sword to get my money's worth from the console?
P.S. I was never big on Final Fantasy-like JRPGS, so please omit those titles :)
Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country Returns, The New Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are some pretty great Wii games.
the conduit games are pretty good along with the call of dutys but beware conduit 2s story is terrible.
You shouldn't buy a wii. Getting a 360 or PS3 is a much better idea. Although I heard Skyward sword is good, it isn't worth getting the entire system
You should get Super Smash Bros and Legend of Zelda twilight Princess
And Links Cross bow training
I wouldn't say the Wii is bad, but I do prefer the single player games on my PS3. I think it's a great party console though. My sisters and I usually reserve the wii for Guitar Hero, Wii Sports, Just Dance, and Mario Party, and plus, you can use Neflix on it.
Actually, I wouldn't! The Wii U Is on the horizon, and coming fast. If I was you I would stay at your PC gaming level. Work with some Starcraft 2 or WoW (Along with the new WoW expansion coming out in Sept. ) These will keep your busy i'm sure until Wii U is available on the sales floor.

I would recommend: Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Metroid Other M, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Pikmin, Red Steel 2 (Don't bother with the first), Monster Hunter Tri, Zack and Wiki, New Super Mario Bros, Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Epic Mickey, and GoldenEye 007. Those are my retail recommendations. There are also good WiiWare and Classic Virtual Console games on the Wii Shop Channel.
Its cheap enough amd has a lot of good gmaes now
Not sure if u like these kind of games but resident evil umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles are really fun not ur typical resident evil games.
because your face hurts when i punch it.
I highly doubt that. I'll check if you're a new member & how often you post to determine if you're a spambot. Then, if you are one, I'll report you to a mod. I certainly was presently surprised when a mod banned a spammer I reported. That certainly works.
Edit: No surprises here. Just an ordinary spammer.
Twilight Princess is awesome on the Wii. If you like Monster Hunter, they got that on the Wii. Okami is also a good game, although it's not an exclusive.
Beware The Outsider's power...
Zelda and super smash brothers!
If you can get a copy of the Metroid Prime Trilogy, that's really good on the Wii. Metroid Prime is probably the only game I've played on the Wii where I actually enjoyed the motion controls.
