New HALO TRILIOGY!!  A welcome sight or not.

Holiday 2012, by then I will be ready for a new Halo.  Every 2 to 3 years is good pacing for sequels imo.  Still fresh enough that some of the crazy fans will be playing it but long enough it doesn't feel like they are shoving down our throats.

Just need to be concerned since it is not Bungie developing.  Makes me wonder what the new studio will do with the franchise.

Awesome. I don't care what the 50 haters say. This will be great. I'm pretty sure 343 have the blueprints to 1, 2, 3 and are already creating a fun game. Can't wait to see what the story is about.

halo 4 is probably to much i only gona get it beacuse master chief comes out in it

Speculation:  The ship is filled with the remnants of the Forerunner race.  Guilty Spark DID tell MC;  "You are Reclaimer, you ARE Forerunner..."  Besides, who else would be around to hear the distress signal that Cortana fired up? lol

In an 11-year period (not counting CE Remake).  I wouldn't really consider that milking a franchise.  It's not like Nintendo cramming Mario into absolutely everything or Kratos mysteriously guest-starring in every freaking fighting franchise.  

Hell, that's fewer Halo games over 2 generations than Mario games on just the Wii.

I think these are spaced out fairly reasonably.  Halo 4 won't be out until late next year anyway. 

i was extremely caught off gaurd by Halo 4, but that being said I think it will be great. I am wondering what you will be shooting though the flood are dead so...what now?

i wonder what the weapons will be like. If MC was blown into a whole nother galaxy he cant have all of the weapons from the first three games. I wonder what weapons they will keep and which ones they will throw away.

I was caught off guard by the announcement of Halo 4. I'm not sure what to expect from it since Bungie is no longer in the picture, but I'm still excited & will definitely by buying it. :]

This is NOT an example of milking a franchise, not even close.  Not at all.  Each game is brand new, and each offers a great story with gamers always yearning for more.  The campaign of all the halos put together is the best campaign I've ever played.

Don't label this game as going too far, because I'll tell you what, Call of Duty is doing the same thing, and not many are complaining.  Don't get me wrong, I love CoD, but they are making a lot of these games for a reason: because they are amazing games!

I'm pumped for Halo 4, and its trailer is the reason.  Master Chief is back, and we get to see him back in action, and hopefully reunite with the human forces that thought he was dead.  New weapons (the grenade pistol in the trailer), new alien species maybe?, and new story will all (and hopefully) provide for a great, fresh, amazing gaming experience.  I can't wait!

I'm pretty sure armor abilities and Reach's MP EXP will make a return. But let's hope that's it. He can keep his weapons because there can be an amory in that ship.

Edit- Grenade pistol? I thought it was a flare gun.....
