The lights are on
I still not buying Xbox One,unlest it`s goes" BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY" I have spend a lot of MONEY 0n my XBOX 360, And still have not finish all my 50+ game`s, And too many" RULES"?.
I plan on getting the Xbox One eventually, but I'll be getting the PS4 first. I'm not looking to get rid of any of my current systems, though, so backward compatibility doesn't really bother me. If there's a game that I haven't finished I'll just play it on my 360 or PS3. My decision on which system to get first was mainly based on price and nothing else.
Nothing that the Xbox One is doing really bugs me because I'm already online, I don't really borrow or lend games out but I do get used games so that could be an issue. Cross that bridge when I get to it, though! I'm not saying that these things don't affect others, just saying they don't really affect me.
I've mentioned it in another post, but I still don't like that the game has to be downloaded to the HDD. I haven't seen any change in their stance on that. Maybe I missed it. My issue is why have Blu-ray capabilities and then make me burn through my available HDD space.
Not so much of an issue on being backwards compatible. I'll keep my old systems if it keeps costs to consumers down on a newer one by not having it.
Backwards compatibility is never going to happen it's just to much trouble to have to add that to the list of other problems developers have going into new console generations. I'm still going to go for the Xbox One I have both the original Xbox and Xbox 360 and they both run great. So whenever I feel the urge to take a blast to the past the consoles are right there waiting for me.
I agree with Joseph, just keep your 360 and enjoy GTA V and South Park: The Stick of Truth
im not getting it either. too expensive, obligatory kinect , i dont own the games , i cant play without internet not even offline games.
Great enjoy your 360 and WiiU, because there won't be another backwards compatible console ever.
I will be purchasing it but for now it seems the most I hear from PS4 buyers is all that Xbox sucks instead of being nice and calm about it. A few are albeit but not enough. Am am I Microsoft fan and why don't you just play Xbox 360 games on your Xbox? There not just giving it up... And the PS3 was $600 bucks when it first released...
They're saying Xbone sucks because they're pissed off at Microsoft. No one is targeting Xbox fanboys because most of them are the ones switching to PS4 because of what Microsoft tried to pull.
Easy pass - required Kinect; required Online access, required 24 hour check......easy pass. Frak MS
actually you are wrong..The PS4 will have most of the PS3 games available in cloud format for digital download by 2014 ..if The Xbox can do the same, which most like it will then they can gain some ground as a wanted gaming system..
check it out! i got a Microsoft Points card code that worked from microsoftpoints.freegiftcode.com
"Super Nintendo was the worst console ever because it couldn't play NES games"
- Said no one, ever.
Neither is backward compatible. Also, Xbox 360 is not fully backward compatible with original Xbox games. And, Sony dropped backward compatibility from the PS3, and when they had it, there were texture issues. Just keep your 360 when you get your One. What are you going to get for trade in for the system, $50 or less? What about your games? $1-5 on average?
I agree to your idea Edward, but still can't confirm which yet, when I see tones of Game and Property exclusives for each kind. Xbox One might as well be a repeat or recodification and remastery of the old Xbox 360 model.
