&lt;p&gt;As Tyler and Treestump said, you can get a battery pack separately and give that a try. Hope it fixes your problem.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;my remote is a battery pack operated wireless controller and when i pull the metal conducter out a little&amp;nbsp;the controller works for like a day or so then it breaks again. does anybody know how to fix it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;does gamestop sell battery packs separately, will they refurbish my controllers for a small fee or will i be doomed to buy another remote?&lt;/p&gt;
