The lights are on
I don't think this has been made yet so.....
I'm making it because I have a question.
Last night the color on my tv was getting all screwy, fading in and out, taking on a green tint. I orignally thought it was my tv going but now I'm not sure.
IT happened again this morning, so I decide to play my PS3, which is hooked up by HDMI, and the color was perfectly fine. So is it my Xbox input cable? Or a problem with the tv?

i have a ps3 but this is a console problem that both 360 and ps3 are having, do you know how to fix the EA online connection error? my psn is linked to EA and i've tried the virgin account and night fight round 4 tricks and they don't work.
A console problem? You sure?
And NInja, they are, I checked that, twice.
Arob7777 You Have To Make Sure Your #60 Cables Are All Pluged In As Far As they Can Go.
***, after reading things online it sounds like I'm going to have to send my console in.
You are gonna get the E74 soon Arob.
Shh, don't you curse me this close to MW2. I would buy it on the PS3 if I had to.
I'm just saying, that's exactly what happened to mine when I got the E74 thing.
My Xbox 360 had started to give me all kinds of trouble. First it was just not reading discs, then it moved on to freezing, and finally it started giving me various red flashing lights. And screens with 'contact costumer support' in multiple languages too.
I perused the internet for answers, tried straightening cords, ect., to no avail.
The thing is, it would never give me the red ring immediately. It is far more fond of not reading my disc and freezing. But coustomer support said if I saw the red ring I can send it in regardless. I just worried if they didn't see the red ring first off they would make me pay for it. I should mention that it was the ring where all but the first quadrent is lit.
Anyway, I took out the hard drive to pack it (I actually didn't know you could do that until then) and put it back in out of curiosity. After one disc read fail/ restart it's let me play unmolested.
What should I do? Still send it in and risk having to pay for a rehaul myself? Is there a way to /make/ the red light come back? Is the 360 merely mocking me and going to give me the red light again the day the 3 year red light warrenty is up?
Help is appreciated. Thanks is given in advance.
Want helps. T_T
First how old is your system because if you have the money I would rconsider picking up an arcade because they are built with the new jasper chip that is suppose to lower the chances of the RROD. If not I would send it in because the same thing happened to me it would show red rings then next timeit wouldnt then a few weeks later the RROD was permanent and had to send in for repair. Then the repaired system got RROD a few weeks later so I went out and bought a arcade sysytem.
When my system does not read disks I put it in the horizontal position are fire it up. It always reads. Then I return it to the vertical position and it is fixed. If you try this turn off the machine everytime you move it, even when sliding it over a inch. If you send in the machine I think you keep your hard drive so you won't need to start over completely. I still have never seen any red of any kind but it is only 8 months old. There is always the towel trick but I think it voids your warrenty.
move it from where ever u have it now then cuz u might have in a spot where its not gettn enuff air to breathe.......so dont freak out just yet lol
did you get one red ring flashing? or three? either way, if you remember what the error message was, then call, just call customer support, and get it sent. You should get a replacement, and hopefully, a brand new one.
