The lights are on
I have decided to get into these series because I've always been on the fence about buying these two games, but the previews for the sequels in the newest game informer have pushed me over. I'm going to get both, but I want to hear which is your favorite, and what you like about them.
dead space is awsome as a survival horror but its short. mass effect is great with tons of replay value but it can be legthy but a solid rpg. as far as which i enjoyed the most i would say dead space alot of WTF moments and scares as well as the story being solid. mass effect was aswome as a chose your own story. both games are amazing i just enjoed dead space more.
I would have to say Mass Effect. Aside of the gun controls being a little wonky its great. Plus with number 2 coming out soon your character will carry over.
both are excellent for their own reasons. if your trying to decide which one to get first though, definitely mass effect. the sequel comes out in just a month, where as you still have a good year or more to play dead space before its sequel arrives.
DON'T WORRY
If you're looking for a suggestion on what game to get, please post in one of the following:
The "What Xbox/Xbox 360 Game Should I Get?" Thread
The Official "What PS Game Should I Get?" Thread
The Official "What Nintendo Game Should I Get?" Thread.
In the future, please don't make "Game X or Game Y" threads. It's rarely anything more than a popularity contest that occasionally spawns flame wars. When someone says "I like game X better than game Y" all people can say in response is "well I like game Y better than game X" or "I also like game X better than game Y" And sometimes it gets ugly with people saying things like "you like game X better than game Y? What an idiot." The absolute worst thing these threads do is spawn other threads that are just like them, just with 2 different games in the title. No one wants to wade through several threads that basically say the same thing over and over again before they find a thread with more substance. Honestly, it's annoying and borderline spam.
