So, this inevitably happens to me every time I purchase a new iteration of whatever sports game I crave at the time; some ridiculous bug that causes games to freeze. It always happens once in the beginning, and I usually brush it off easily. But when a game is played as much as a football sim likely is, errors are revealed really quickly. I've searched online, and it's just too early to troubleshoot at this point. All I can do is b*tch, really. Lucky for EA, I'm good at b*tching.

As I said, I've searched online for a fix, or a reason why my disc locks my 360 up mid-game. It's this weird and random, repetitive scenario where the camera pulls away like it's been paused, and then it's just nothing. No sound, no controller function, no anything. I have to hard reset via the console power button. This is definitely not good for my hardware. It's also not good for replay value, when the game already requires about 10 minutes of patience between game weeks in the first place. But, I'm fine with those waits, as long as I'm not having to wait for the same week multiple times because of sloppy programming. Isn't this what testing is for, or are the first few million people who buy EA titles actually the testers? If that's the case, where's my paycheck... I've logged about 50 hours. That's overtime for me, yeah?

I've heard there's a few other glitches, most regarding the coaching simulation stuff. I'm not really in to that part of the game. I actually play my football. Another had to do with blurry text or something. Keep up to date on this stuff, otherwise it will never get solved, and your 60 bones will be lost in vain.

ive had the game since it came out and have played it alot and i have not had any problems with it

Not sure if your 360 is online, but I'm pretty sure there was a major patch for this game already available either at launch or right after launch.  It was supposed to fix a lot of the issues you are having.

That said, I think people should complain to the appropriate people when this happens, as it happens way too often these days.
