  • most people says it sucks because they prefer COD. A lot of people, especially girls start playing it because its so easy. They think, "OH LOOK AT ME! I CAN PLAY HALO! I AM SO FREAKING AWESOME AT THIS ***!" And really, its the only game they can play because it inst that hard, unless you like play Legendary. >.< I cant even do that ***. It kinda pisses me off because I stopped playing because I kept running into a large group of "female gamers" playing it. But really you would look at their profile and they would have like 50 gamerscore and only own that ONE game and they think their all that. Which for me, I think they only want attention because thats all they are is just *** attention seekers trying to get guys. But ya... Sorry, that bothers me a tad.. XD

  • I never really liked Halo since the first one.  Maybe it's because I've played Unreal Tournament, or Medal of Honor too much.  I just don't think the game has quality to compete with other great shooters out there.  I don't necessarily think the game is terrible, it just could be better.

  • It's not so much that I hate Halo, it's just seriously overrated. I personally love a good shoot 'em up free-for-all, but it's not like Halo was the first game to generate that kind of atmosphere. Furthermore, the story, while not bad per se, doesn't seem to have required a lot of thought to create. Let's break it down - some space warriors fight some aliens that want to destroy earth, they fight the aliens, and earth wins. The protagonist is supersoldier with a stoic personality and a heart of gold. Yeah, that about sums the whole thing up. Don't get me wrong, Halo doesn't suck, and I don't hate it, but it is definitely overhyped - almost as bad as Gears of War. Maybe it's not that people hate Halo itself, they just hate the people who love it.

  • I think Halo is OK but, i'm more of a RPG person so the terrible story is a bad thing and I find just shooting stuff for little reason dull.

  • I think it is because they love their PS3 too much.

  • If Halo Reach turns out to be the swan song for Bungie that I think it will be then all your prayers ( Halo fans ) will probably be answered.I think it will be the best Halo to date. That says a lot too, this is coming from some one who is burned out on Halo. I played Halo 1 and 2 a lot. So much that by the time 3 came out I only played it for a short time and put it away and havent played it since. Not because I didnt like it, but because I was burned out beyond belief on Halo in general. So hopefully Reach brings back that excitement I had when I first got into Halo when it first launched. It seriously needs re-tooled and from the looks of the trailer its a start in the right direction.

  • Some people have different tastes in games..

  • It never gained my interest.I never really enjoyed the series. The only thing I could say what I like about it is the sci-fi theme.

  • I never really liked Halo. I have played a bit of the first one and beat the third on Legendary so at least my opinion is not an opinion that I'm pulling out of my butt. I don't really like Sci-Fi themed stuff. So the Halo story has never really interested me. Not to mention, I don't really like to play a lot of shooters. Halo 3 was fun when playing with friends though.

  • Personally, I was never interested in Halo, but that's just my opinion. I don't hate it, but a lot of people do. Probably because Halo is a biga** franchise, and that some people always hate big franchises. "Oh, it's overrated!" they say. Maybe the people that hate it are the people that haven't even touched it.

  • Seriously? When I played the first game, it was new. The second and third were the same exact thing as the first. The only difference? It said "Halo 2" and "Halo 3" on the cover.

  • Personal opinion...all about opinion and fanboys

  • People don't really hate Halo... well, it's hard to explain. I'll proceed to try: Have you ever met someone (in real life) who's a really nice person who's very talented and all-around nice, but sort of awkward? That's Halo, and he seems like a total loser that everyone makes too big a deal about but he's really nice once you get to know him. Problem is, everyone takes the word from the coolest kid in school that he's not cool and they don't talk to our nerdy friend as much. The cool kid is anyone who thinks that Halo is too mainstream even though they haven't played it and they try to 'be their own person' by playing non-Halo games (read:COD, not that there's anything wrong with COD).

What about those that don't like CoD?
