The lights are on
I love games with costumizable characters. I really get tired of playing guys, though dressing them up is amusing!
Can anyone recommend an /offline/ game that includes that feature?
A few games with decent create-a-character features include:
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
Soul Calibur 4
Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires
Samurai Warriors 2: Empires
Rock Band 2
Guitar Hero 5

I will check them out. Thanks! ^^
I'd love some recomendations on sandbox games on the 360.
I can think of a few myself, such as Grand Theft Auto, Oblivion, and Dead Rising (to a certain extent).
List some good ones, m'kay? ^^
To make this more interesting, what do you guys think of sandbox type games in general? What are the pros and cons?
GTA is my favorite by far but there's fallout 3,Boarderlands is coming out. Some of the Pros to these type of games are exploring the whole land or city, being able to see all the artwork that's put in to the areas. The interaction that goes with an entire city of AI. Wondering aimlessly for hours doing nothing at. Cons:Wondering aimlessly for hours doing nothing at.
Definitely the most fun sandbox game there is.
Oblivion by far one of the best, you can even "make your own class", Oblivion also takes a decent amount of time to beat.
Mass Effect is another sci fi shooter rpg, fully customizable.
For a shooter rainbow six vegas 2 is one, but you gotta rank up a decent amount to have a lot of options. They also have make your own camo once you hit the last rank.
Oblivion is probably by far your best bet in the customazation dept. Fallout 3 was pretty limited in my opinion. It didnt have as much as Saints Row 2 did.
I sorta though Oblivion/ Elder Scroll whatever was all alike. Basically, a fantasy world of endless fetch quests and rat killing...
I liked Mass Effext a lot. Fallout 3 was alright in terms of customization. But I think Mass Effect was the best and thats just me.
Fable 2 is pretty detailed in what you can do, I personally didn't care too much for the game itself but that is another one that you can pick the sex of your character and their physical appearance reflects what courses you take and you can dress them in whatever you want.
Just out of curiousity why does it have to be an offline game?
Not a lot of people like the game but there is saints row, it's decent. But oblivion and fallout are definitely the top two.
Surprised no ones said the sims 3.
If you want great story-telling and gameplay mixed into one game, you gotta go with Mass Effect. If you want a game with surprise moments (story wise) and gameplay, then BioShock is good, too.
Mass Effect or Lost Odyssey
