There is a surprising amount of people here that do not seem to mind that fable 3 was nothng more than an action adventure game with role play elements. If fa le four is ever announced, it needs to return to its over stylized campy fun roots.

I am not sure if fable will be a fail only because of the family tree. if you remember  there were also friends of the main characters in the game, to also which the hero is always picked by some special higher power or family ties. Basically the game is about destiny, not the family blood line.

I don't think i like the fact that fable: the journey is kinect only.  I think this new fable will be fun for a little bit, but i overall it seems kinda gimicky.

Fable is a joke now, they were underwhelming with the first game, the second game was a platform classic, they had a gem there, then they took a *** in their hand, boxed it, and shipped it and called in Fable 3.

They took everything that was great about the second game and scrapped it. Actual menus, character customization, style, exploration, challenge.

They dumbed it down so much and gave it so many unnecessary and inconvenient features they might as well have called it Daikatana.*

If they want to avoid the mistakes they made, they need to do a post natal abortion on that game title and pretend it never happened.

When was Fable 4 announced? I must be behind on the times.

I highly agree with Thelizardman.  Fable 3 was a disgrace among RPG games.

I have loved all the Fables so far... The only thing I didn't like was having to try and hook up with other players in order to get all the weapons for an achievement! Also going through on  a second playthrough to get the chicks clothing was kind of annoying! I really hope Fable 4 continues to change the series but not with annoying things that are hard to do!

Fable 3 was a gigantic disappointment.Fable 4 will probably be 1 hour long and you will be able to complete it blindfolded by just pressing A all the time.

That is sort of how I feel. I have not played Fable 3 because Fable 2 left a bad taste (though it was a fun game) as it disappointed me. Fable 1 was a great game and the series is going a pretty different way from that, and it doesn't seem to be a direction I want to go.

Fable 2 is my second favorite game. Fable 3 was okay so the answer is yes you are..

A unique story is definitely in order for Fable.  The last adventure was about as vague as a tale of revolution gets.

Fable is an average series at best.

I hope it is nothing like the third Fable. I watched my parents play it, and my main thing is exploring and selling the goods I find. They need to come up with a better mechanisms for clothes, and for the marketplaces (buying/selling)
