They seem to be trying to make different ideas for the series like Halo wars.I think doing something like that is ruining the series.Halo is what it should be.

they should end it at a high note instead of making one bad game and killing the series

being a big halo fan ending it would dissappoint me, but i see good reason for doing so, however if they do decide to keep the series alive i hope they dont bleed the series to death.

As Many are saying, I believe Halo should only be alive so long as Bungie is the developer (and not a "consultant" or whatever)

lol thats funny me and my friend said the same thing word for word but once again leaving it at a high note will give bungie a good reputation for future games.

Halo is a great series, but it seems like bungie is trying to bring it back to life, first with Halo Wars, set 20 years before Halo 1, then Halo 3:ODST, a game that is like 3 times harder than the original Halo 3, and now rumors of Halo: Reach, also set before the first.  

 To me it seems like Bungie is trying to relive the glory days, either bring Master Chief back to life or just quit making the games.

Bungie has nothing to do with Halo Wars.

No, ODST could have been skipped but they shouldn't end the story. Reach should be awesome but if we don't get at least a book saying what happens to Masterchief then that will piss off a lot of people.

because all the games (except Final Fantasy) are actually GOOD, unlike halo.

No I feel that they have barely scratched the surface of the Halo universe. To end it would be to commit a murder against all the hardcore fans of it. I'm not one of those fans but I feel that it should keep going. And hey, there's always room for improvement.

i dont like halo, i tried it, it was fun online for a short time, but then gets boring, and tha campaign in part 1 was AWFUL, i mean it was painful to sit thru, i eventually said screw it and never finished it. it was just go from point to point and kill stupid creatures wit stupid guns. and im glad it did what it did for gaming, and i do like tha look of tha spartans and that tha original game fuel came about cuz of halo 3 (i loved that drink). but most of tha people that ive known that love tha series have never played any other shooters, cuz seriously tha gameplay is on tha bottom of tha list of fps's, thats just my opinion tho. but i think it should just stop, or they should make some major changes to tha overall story or somethin.

i think it should end because they already defeated the covent and destroyed the flood what r they just gonna start a new war i think a new game just might be a bite of fun if they inproved the wepons and the maps but its been going on pretty long and it gets boring after a little while

this is a good time to end it cant wait to see what bungie makes next

I don't think it should end now with the way they ended Halo 3. What kind of crappy way for Master Chief to go out, floating in space.
