Is it just me, or does the borderlands matchmaking system not work properly? I'm a level 45 hunter on my 2nd playthrough and whenever I search custom games, it shows me level 1 - level 21 games only. Is this happening to anyone else? At first I thought it was just because the game was still new and there weren't that many high level people, but it's been awhile now.

But to answer your question, it's more the fact that I think most people who are higher level already know one another and will be playing with one another. Either that or you have to get lucky and find a high level character on their second playthrough in an open game. I know I got lucky enough to find an open lvl 50 game yesterday, and because I was lvl 47, I quickly got leveled to 50, and then two more lvl 50s joined us.
