1 shot (usually) with the Fat Man

Blow it away with a Fatman!! Never Fails!!

Fat Man or the Alien Blaster or a Missile Launcher will do, but I wouldn't use the Alien Blaster until last cause of the limited ammo unless you get the Mothership Zeta DLC

Use the Fatman.  Works like a charm.

My Favorite thing to use is a missile Launcher or the Gauss Riffle. Try to keep a object like a chain link fence or what ever in between you and the behemoth it will make it so much easier if your just out of reach :)

nah fatman is your best bet.  if thats unavailable, just use the strongest weapon you got in a weapon category you specialize in, and aim for the head.  and use your drugs mate.  drugs are good, mmkay.

Along with other gamers, I would use the Fatman. One or two hits should finish it. You can find one on one of the Brotherhood of Steel's corpses. Just scavenge.

As others have suggested, Fatman is the obvious choice.  I just thought I would chime in since I have experience killing one with a hunting rifle.  Let's just say I wouldn't recommend it to someone else.

the most entertaining is probably to shoot him with the dart gun first. he'll just stumble along helplessly and you can take him down with basicly anything (melee not recommended)

Anyone can use a fat man to kill it, but really, who wants to carry that around?

I say, if a fat man is not available, your best bet is to use all those bottlecap mines and frag mines nobody uses and set a booby trap for the behemoth, lead him through the huge pile of mines you just set and a large portion of his health should be gone. This can be complimented with a dart gun shot, if the mines did not cripple him already. after this point it is easiest to barricade yourself in an area where you can hit him but he can't hit you, like behind a fence or in a hallway and whale on him with your best weapons.

Get Fawkes. Just to test how good he really was, I put him against a Super Mutant Behemoth..and he took him down by himself; didn't even lose a third of his health.

Fawkes works...but thats no fun....use lots of explosives and they hated my tri beam laser rifle and the good old plasma rifle....jsut dont let them in too close...oh and yeah use lots of stimpaks
