The lights are on
I think they are the reason for is every call of duty has this cat and mouse game were you trying to find somebody who did something bad. I would like to see something different don't you ?
Games that have popular multiplayers shouldn't get a pass on the campaign. Multiplayer should always be a companion to multiplayer for a full price game. If they just wanted to focus on multiplayer, they would cut out the campaign entirely and sell the game at a lower price.
I think they should add in some aliens.
I never thought I'd say this, even if I knew I would deep down. Call of Duty is done with new ideas. Every year they will come out with a new tweak to the game that everyone will be so excited about, myself included. The campaign will be good but hard to follow at times, like it has been and the multiplayer won't change too drastically due to how much money they have already made, Hopefully new studios will see this, rise up, and change the game world because Call of Duty is done reinventing.
if they were running out of ideas than there woudlnt be a new call of duty at all so i guess no they arent. not yet. War is pretty much this guy blows up a building and we have to go after him for 10 years... it cant change much. i think Black Ops 2 answered this though. the RTS missions and the slightly open world horseback levels felt refreshing to me.
Whatever peels your orange
wasnt MW3 WW3?
Honestly, I don't see the obsession with it. I havn't liked the series other then singleplayer in the world war 2 games and zombie mode. Havn't bought one since World at War. Have played MP on all of them at a friends for a few hours each maybe, and all of the newer ones seem literally exactly the same to me.
I think they are. The reason I feel that way is that every Call of Duty has this cat and mouse game, where you are trying to find somebody who did something bad. I would like to see something different, wouldn't you?
Also, that sounds like a general protagonist/antagonist relationship, which most games need to develop some sort of story. I don't think that that's necessarily just for Call of Duty games though. Almost every game has you trying to take down the antagonist, whether it be Borderlands 2's Handsome Jack, Mario's Bowser, or Mass Effect's ending.
Yes! Just look at BLack Ops 2. It is a semi-futuristic game, They have run out of wars and now they will start going into the futuristic game like a Halo.
We shall see, once Ghosts comes out.
I would say they have reached the level of Nintendo with ideas but at least their games dont feel like mods.
I've always appreciated Treyarch games more than Infinity Ward so I'm not expecting much from Ghosts.
I'm fine with a new setting, new bad guys, and new guns. New graphics would be nice too.
It used to be that Treyarch couldn't but the deal changed when Infinity Ward stuff went down.
Considering that they have to come out with a game every year. I would have to say there milking it dry. Plus keeping there prices higher then the average game that's been out for a year. What gives?
