The lights are on
Ok, so I recently purchased Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition from Steam for $30. A lot of people loved the game, and I wanted to give it a shot. Plus, Dragon Age: Inquisition would be releasing for PS4 fall 2014. The problem is that most people that liked DAO did not like DA2. My question is: Should I buy and play Dragon Age 2 after playing Origins, or just skip 2 and buy Inquisition? Thanks for any help!
DA2 was OK in my opinion. It wasn't as good as DAO, but it was enjoyable. It is going to come down to your preference as a player. I would try it out first, if you're able to without buying it, and see what you think. The combat is different and the writing isn't as strong. If you can enjoy it as it's own game then you'll be alright, if you're constantly comparing it to DAO as you play through it you'll be disappointed. But even though I enjoyed it I only played it once and was done with it so, take that for what you will.
i would if you are planing to get DA3 just for the continuty.
Yes you should get Dragon Age 2 and here are couple reasons why:
1. Its a fun game.
2. It continues the story by carrying over data from Dragon Age: Origins.
3. It's data will be imported into Dragon Age 3.
Just keep in mind that just because its different from Origins, does not make it a bad game. Its fun, has cool characters, and cool story. Just remember there are not as many options like Dragon Age: Origins.
Dragon Age 2 isn't that bad of a game, I think it's good :) but it's up to you, I'd just recommend getting it because when you buy DA3 you MIT not be able to understand what's going on because you've missed out on important facts from DA2 that will pass onto DA3, cause there are certain things that are important
Up to you. I personally did not like it the only good thing for me is the combat is better.
Dragon Age 2.... Probably the single greatest copy paste job I've ever seen.
The combat is great, the story is alright, and you'll feel like you never made any progress because everything is recycled. lol
