I saw a few speculation threads and other ones that had nothing to do with the game, so here's the official one.

The first trailer with gameplay came out today and holy crap does it look good.

Personally, I think this has GOTY potential written all over it. This is the kind of shooter we've desperately needed. Bad Company 2 was a great, great game, but everything about this one just seems better from what I've read and seen. Huge maps, tons of vehicles, and destructible environments unlike anything we've ever seen before. It doesn't hurt that graphically it looks stunning as well. Heck, I'll probably get it on the 360 and PC just so I can play with the bros and experience all the extra players.

I played Battlefield 2 religiously for a very long time.  I really hope they nail it again like they did that one.

It does look pretty *** amazing.  I played Battlefield 2, but I have to admit that I haven't played Bad Company 1 or 2.  This, though...this looks amazing.  Like I said on the original announcement, I was trying to cut back on shooters this year, but now it looks like I'll be getting Rage, Modern Warfare 3 (I skipped out on Black Ops), and this.  I hope that this can actually compete against Call of Duty and sell well.  

Everything about this game is looking great. The article got me really excited for the ways to blow things up!

Bah! This year is insane! Portal 2, Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and several others I forgot. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to do it! Skyrim and Battlefield are at the top of my list. I can not! wait for this. I've heard so much about Battlefield 2 and I'm reading about 3. Definitely what I need for a switch in the FPS genre.

There really is no better fps series than this when playing with friends.

Coordinating tactics, getting rewarded for smart play, and actual fun being a support role like a medic.

Personally...I can't wait. I think BF3 has the potential to pick the Call of Duty franchise up by it's tail and give it a couple of good slaps; either moving in as reigning champion or at least getting C.O.D to get it's act together.

Fault Line Episode 2: Good Effect on Target

More than anything the sound impressed me in the video. From the sniper's shots, the background noises, to the way all sound near disappears at the end.
