The lights are on
The Brutal Legend has been out for a while, if you tried it out..what do you think?
I thought the combat didn't flow enough to be, I thought the movements were kind of 'jerky' maybe 'clunky'. I LOVE the idea and the job Jack Black did. I rofl-ed several times during the demo.
I agree, I loved the humor, but I thought that the animations didn't "flow" like they should. I'm probably going to buy it, but definitely not day one.

Agreed very much worth a play through though.

yeah, i agree about the combat not flowing like it should. It was also really easy to tell the cut scenes (at least the ones in the demo) were made back in the earlier days of this generation. I thought it was cool though. In game looked better than i thought it would, and TIm Schafer and Jack Black are each hilarious enough on their own. this is a great pairing.

Played through this yesterday. It's just a bit better than I was expecting, but it's worth mentioning that I've been sure since it was announced that this would be GOTY.
Only thing wrong with the demo was the wonky sound quality. But the opening cinematic (complete with Psychonauts references and voice actors ^_^) is probably the best of any game this gen.
