The following games have been awarded a 10/10 from GI: Uncharted 2, COD 4, Bioshock, and well unfortunately, GTA 4.
Which games do you believe desreved the score and which did not?
What games besides these would you give a 10/10 to?
I can't speak for Uncharted 2 since I don't have a PS3 but otherwise I don't think any of these games deserve the perfect score. Probably the closest one to deserving it is Bioshock which I would give more like a 9.5.
There is only one game I think deserves a perfect 10 and that's Fallout 3. A brilliant craft of entertainment, story, and lasting appeal that simply made my jaw drop when I first played the game. The game is just purely awesome and has very, very minor flaws. It's gaming at it's best and truly deserves the highest score of a 10/10.
COD 4 dosent deserve more than a 7. The Campain was short and pointless. The rest more than deserve it. And KZ2 deserved it as well as Resistance 2
It all comes down to opinion, in which no one will ever 100% agree. These threads fail.
Sorry but Bioshock is an infinitely better game that Fallout 3. Bioshock showed the world that games could be an art form. Fallout deserved at most a 9.25. Yeah the game had tons of content but the fact is: other than VATS mode it just wasn't fun to shoot your guns. The fact that you could be aiming at a guy perfectly and not hit him because of you missing a hidden dice roll is absurd. Modern Warfare 2 deserved a 10, in my opinion because I was simply blown away by the campaign. Infinity Ward is the best at making exciting cinematic gaming experiences.
And for the kid above me: THIS IS A FORUM WHERE PEOPLE STATE THEIR OPINIONS! Are you saying that if something is not a fact then it doesn't deserve to be said? You fail because your post itself is just an opinion.

Not so sure on the whole MW 2 part though. Personally I think that the first one was better. Which is also my opinion. :)
Oh and yes of course VATS is the majority of the gun gameplay but there have been plenty of times where I have ran out of my VATS points and played in real time aiming my gun and most of the time sucsessfully hiting and killing.
Besides, who doesn't like exploding headshots of blood and gore in slow-mo? Now that never gets old. :)

I personally think that Halo 2, Bioshock, and God of war all deserved a 10/10. Fallout 3 was close to a perfect 10 for me, but it really wasn't emotionally resonant to me, and I was quickly frustrated with the clunky real time gameplay. Of course this is just my opinion.
anything that makes you forget about the controller in your hand.. and mostly bug free can get a ten... every game has the potential.. but they just get rushed and hense a bad game.

I think both Halo 3 (not odst) deserved a ten. halo 3 is an amazing game that, for me, never got oldhad had perfect controls and though it may not be the graphical powerhouse of call of duty and it may not have as many weapons or customization features, it also lacked some of call of duty's main problems ( spawn camping, nooby weapons being repeatedly spammed across the map and martyrdom) i think mw 2 is amazing but it got the score it deserved (9.75)
I didn't like Halo 3 much. There was basically nothing changed. There were barely any new weapons, the campaign sucked and was short, and it was really generic. Also, it has some of the most unbalanced multiplayer i've ever seen.
Bioschock and GTA 4 deserved a ten because they were truly an art form. Fallout 3 is an art form but the glitches ruined the game
I also think that rockband 2 should have got a 10 out of ten
Bioshock deserves it.
I don't know many other games that are that worthy. Maybe HL2 should have got one.
