The lights are on
You seem to forget that DICE is trying to also shape the best possible experience for console players that PC gamers are experiencing. While the PC version is gonna look better and the multiplayer maps are gonna be bigger and with more people running around on them, I'd bet my life that DICE crafted the console multiplayer to be just as fun. This is DICE we're talking about. They know what they're doing.
Well no, DICE admited it them selfs that they can make the console version alot better, they just havent heard any complaints from the console community. And yes the CO-OP is sexy but thats not the full BF experience. Tell me how 12 people on one team is enuff to Fly jets, drive tanks, humvees, helicopters, and do all the ground fighting at once? Its not possibe. Like i said, i understand we cant get 64 players on consoles, but we sure as hell can get 48, 36, or 32 so why settle for 24?
Co-op and multiplayer gameplay
Game looks really good. That is all... FREAKING JETS!
I think we're all setting ourself up for disappointment
We're thinking and wishing and hoping this game will be great
and it may very well be
but reality may not compete with our expectations
We're not. I played it. It's awesome. Everyone else who's played it has said the same thing.
So what you're saying is that DICE said: "We can make the console multiplayer, which no one has seen, better if we get complaints from the console community"?
Yes! I even gave a like to the site! It even caome out on the Gameinformer of March 2011 Issue 215. Now they didint say they that they can make the console version better then the PC, obviosly the PC version will be 100 times better. They did say that they can make the console version better thatn what it currently is, not in those exact words, but they said it. Just click the link on my first comment, its all there. Every on else that keeps replying to me (except you) dosent get WTF im trying to say....i bet they didint even read half of what i wrote.
This is the one game I wish I had a better PC for, because I bet it's going to look amazing on that platform. But alas, I still prefer consoles because I like knowing that if I buy a game, it's going to work with my system no mater what. That ease of use comes with some sacrifices, but I still think it's going to be an amazing game. I'm trying not to get too hyped up for it, but it's tough not to!
So yeah if you were one of the lucky ones the big beta started today. Unfortunately I have wait a little longer but to who has played it what's your impressions so far?
At first I wasn't going to get it, but now I saw some videos about it, I'm probaly going to get it.
Played a few matches of the beta last night and while it had it's fair share of hiccups because it's a beta I loved every second of it. This game may have some of the most fluid player movements I've ever seen in a FPS, this was what left the biggest impression on me. It's just so seamless hoping over cover, going into prone, it works so smooth.
Man I can't wait for the actual game to come out. It's gonna be so good.
Yeah, it had had it's problems. My screen would constantly flash green at times only in the subway portion of the map. That said, it's a beta so bugs are expected (reading about people falling through the map). Still, the controls were smooth and it looked good. Going to be a great game.
I wasn't looking forward to this game with any particular interest, but this beta may have changed my mind. What I find odd is the negative reaction coming from so called longtime BF players. Why are people complaining about camping in a rush map? How the hell are you supposed to defend territory by running back and forth through the map? I can tell the differences between this and CoD, no matter what people are saying.
