  • i really hope that gaming doesn't turn to a world without a controller.  first of all,  i play with one hand, i paralyzed my left arm and hand in a snowboarding accident and play with my chin and right hand.  second, it limits ability use, like if it was a star wars game, how would you be able to use all your different force powers? i saw that they already have a star wars game for kinect and i am curious as to how they are going to pull something like that off.  third, i enjoy just relaxing in front of my tv and playing a game,  that's how gaming has always been until wii.  anyways, i have a few concerns about the future of gaming.

  • I hear ya brother, Wii motion controls disgust me! None of the companies have gotten it right, and with the motion controls even becoming sensitive to your force of movement, sometimes playing the games hurts!

I had Madden for the Wii (it was my first Wii game) and in order to lower your shoulder while running, you had to stab your arm forward. Now run the ball 20-30 times a game. Now play 4 or 5 games... That constant forward thrusting motion, coupled with the motions for any other move, and my arms would hurt to the point of seeing a doctor once thinking I had torn something!
