The lights are on
"Oh perfect, you DID find a portal gun! Well that just goes...to show you that people with brain damage are the real heroes in the end, at the end of the day, aren't they?"
Wheatley is on his track to becoming my all time favorite video game character. <3
Two hours into the co-op campaign and the laughs just keep coming. Maybe it is because I am playing with my bestfriend. Maybe it because of the writing and unexpected gameplay (no spoilers for you). Maybe it is the special blend of everything.
The most unexpected part is how easy it is to ping something or use the d-pad. Whether it is making my co-op partner look at something or high fiving after solving a puzzle it is all sooooo simple.
I can't wait until I start the single player campaign.
I have to say I love Valve more. Whatever they release for the console next I will buy it. I love you Gabe!!!
Say no to walls of text. Just hit the enter key.
You should play single player first..co-op takes place after single player.
"You remember turrets, don't you? They're the pale spherical things full of bullets. Oh no, wait, that's you in five minutes."
does co-op really reference the sp developments?
i can't wait to play it. played about 20 min at best buy last night and had some great puzzles including redirecting a laser through several barriers. plus lots of leaping.
and just read gi's review. at 8 hrs for sp and 5 for co-op, this will be epic. potential goty i think.

I hope the SPC isn't spoiled playing co-op.
Glados has to come back!
"Oh hi. How are you holding up? BECAUSE I'M A POTATO!"
I love the co-op in this. Alot of fun and laughs to be had.
Portal 2 is freakin' awesome. I'm about halfway through the co-op mode, and GLaDOS' comments are still just hilarious. Only just started single player, and got distracted by Mortal Kombat.
"You are performing well with your teamwork. At least the one of you that's doing everything."
Still, this has Game of the Year written all over it.
Beat the game yesterday. The last two minutes of this game beat the hell out of every Halo and CoD climax put together. I was a bit worried that it's relatively short-length and lack of replay value might have made this a bad purchase, but now I can say I don't regret it.
Still haven't played the co-op yet, though. If anyone needs a partner and doesn't mind a player who isn't that great at Portal, hit me up.
I can't get enough of this game! I've already gotten all the trophies for singe-player and now i'm going for the co-op trophies. I can't get any of the co-op trophies considering PSN is down at the moment. I tried doing the co-op locally by my self but it didn't end well.
Let's just say one of my controllers shook violently and fell off my desk. -.-
alright, i need help. i cant unlock the extras menu in portal 2? can anyone help me? please?
i have no frickin idea how to get it. i have play through and beaten portal 2 like 3 times already! what am i missing?
I got the game yesterday at 9pm, I literally stayed up until 7am to beat sp and It was amazing, only thing is I got it on pc and none of my friends have a pc which can run portal so I can't play co-op. I think this and ME3 will be my main contendors for GOTY.
.....Because I'm a potato, completely the new 'the cake is a lie'
... I never asked for this.
Recently completed it... Quite possibly the most touching ending that I've ever experienced in a video game...
I remember a Game Informer article saying that the game's lead writer claimed that this story is possibly Valve's best work... I have to agree with him there.
Someone needs to compile a list of the best quotes from this game.
"You fly as gracefully as an eagle... piloting a blimp."
