  • Note: This is my personal opinion and games that I look forward to that I wish to see at E3. All the information is subject to change. Have a good day :) (If you see some information incorrect please correct me so I can fix it)

    10. Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS GO.) Any die-hard Valve fan would jump off their roofs just to play this game for 10 minutes in hospital. But I for one, am not quite excited as that. I've played all the other counter strikes and had really fun with it when I was a younger. Playing 1.6 all the time. But now as I am older, I've gotten tired of CS. Of course, the great zombie mods will keep the game alive but for me it seems like it sticks to the same ideas and not much new. The way I see it, Valve is giving the same game but with better and more advanced tools for the community to play around with. And I don't see anything wrong with that. It will be really fun to play CS GO and I can't wait for it. This FPS will bring good memories and skillful shooting back to the shelves. There is no official release date but it will be around 2012

    9.  Assassins Creed 3. Owning only one copy of Assassins Creed being number 1. I quite enjoyed it. But I failed to get excited for the new ones and skipped them. I tried a multiplayer beta for brotherhood and it was fun. Now I think is the time to get back to Assassins Creed. The reason this isn't higher up is because I am not sure what to expect. Assassins Creed will be set in the American Revolution. Where you play the role of an assassin. You will get targets to eliminate and follow a storyline with loads of gadgets and sword fighting. Of course as an assassin you need to get around places fast and effective. For this there is parkour. You jump, slide and climb up building and towers to get a good view of your targeted area. Assassins Creed 3 seems to put a lot of new things to the table and it will be really exciting to assassinate our enemy's once again. Release 31st October 2012

    8. Bioshock Infinite. I have played Bioshock 1 and quite enjoyed it. But it seemed a little closed in and linear. Even though it wasn't. I liked the way Bioshock presented itself. With guns and abilities like fire and ice. Now Bioshock Infinite brings something totally different. Instead of dark underwater theme. It has a bright and open world in the skies. Yes, that's right. The game is up in the sky. In Bioshock Infinite you will have abilities where you can lift your enemy's with telekinesis whilst shooting them with a shotgun. The return of Bioshock is highly anticipated and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Release February 26 2013

    7. Medal of Honor: Warfighter. This game looks amazing. And I got really high hopes for this one. Especially since they feature Tier 1 groups around the world. I really hope this will transfer over to multiplayer as well. As you all know this is a game from EA and will be using Frostbite 2 engine. And it makes the game look and sound gorgeous. I played the last Medal of Honor and it was really fun. It's like if you add some elements of Battlefield and mix it with Call of Duty with Frostbite engine. You get Medal of Honor. I got high hopes for the single player because the campaigh of BF3 really missed out the potential of Frostbite 2 engine. Multiplayer will be fun as always and let's keep our hopes up! Release October 23 2012

    6. Tomb Raider. I have never played the first ones. But seeing it in action makes me really excited. It reminds me of the Uncharted series which is really good. I don't know what to expect from Lara Croft in this new Tomb Raider. I did some research on the other Tomb Raiders and it seems like it's a lot of puzzle solving, climbing and shooting. Tomb Raiders graphics are just amazing and really outstanding. Now I can't wait for this game to release so I will have my first experience with Tomb Raider. Release March 5 2013

    5. Planetside 2. Planetside 2 is still in alpha stage, yet the graphics and the lighting is amazing. The idea is that you have these really big continents where there are hundreds of people battling it out in 3 factions. This is an MMO-FPS and is Free to Play! That's right! I would have bought it for 100 dollars! That's how good it seems! The best thing about it is that when you capture a base, it doesn't just skip to the next map. It's a consistent world and you will have captured it until someone takes it back. You will have space ships, tanks, cars and mech suits. There is currently not a release date but I expect it will be around 2013.

    4. Prey 2. Prey 2 is set in the future and puts you in the boots of a bounty hunter. I didn't play Prey 1 but Prey 2 seems really fun. It's from Bethesda then you know it's good. It's a single player open world FPS parkour game. Where you hunt down your victims. You get cool gadgets and weapons to kill or stop your enemies. You will get contracts for catching someone alive then deliver them back. But you can double cross your contract dealer and get double payment, but it can also mean a much more difficult mission. You can run freely and shoot people like a sandbox game, but then the police will come after you. It will release somewhere in 2013

    3. Far Cry 3. "Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?" Maybe one of the most noticeable lines in Far Cry 3 trailers and gameplay. Far Cry 3 delivers a stunning open world adventure in an island. Where you travel by boat as a tourist. When your friends get kidnapped and you got nearly killed you seek out for them. I have not played any of the other Far Cry's but I have been wanting to do so. But I decided I would wait for Far Cry 3. It isn't just single player. It has a multiplayer too. With medium sized maps and classes to chose from. You can have battle-cries and flaming barrels falling down on your enemies and more. I am really impressed by what I have seen so far. And I can't wait to see more. Release 30 September 2012

2.Grand Theft Auto 5. Not much is known about GTA V. But it will for sure be just as good or even better than the previous ones. GTA seems to go back to it's roots and have more wild gameplay, instead of only city. GTA features a gigantic area for you to explore, roam and play around in. There are missions where it tends to involve with gangsters and crime. After all, GTA is most known to be a sandbox game where you run away from the police whilst stealing cars and running over people. The multiplayer will be great this time around because you can have a bunch of people in a gigantic world for you and your friends to either hunt down other players or just cause trouble. I am really excited for this and I have played GTA 2, GTA SA, and GTA IV. I am eager to get my hands on it. There is no given release date but there is rumored that it will be released late 2012, but I kinda doubt that. I would say somewhere in 2013.

    1. Metro: Last Light. Metro games is about a post apocalyptic Russia. Where the survivors took refuges in the Metro stations. Where mutants and monsters evolves from the radiation. The air overground is toxic so you have to continuesly search for filters for your gas-mask. You will encounter Nazi's, mutants and a new creature called the Dark Ones. I played Metro 2033 and I am extremely impressed by it. You get to chose if you are the one to rush through everything with an AK, or be stealthy and take out enemies one by one. Metro is a dark and makes you really sad to see how the apocalypse affects others. The game focuses really on dark elements and details, much rather than your standard FPS where you blast your way through everything. I can't wait for Metro Last Light and I am sure it will be extremely successful and good! Release date is set to the first quarter of 2013.

This was my first try at top 10's I really want some feedback. (Honorable mentions: Borderlands 2, Call of Duty black ops 2, Crysis 3, Hitman Absolution, Elder Scrolls Online)

  • Almost everything you posted is either confirmed to be there or will likely if not yet said. The only ones that are tough to call are Prey 2 considering the development troubles recently and GTA V because R* hasn't been at E3 for years.

Well, it's a mix. Those are the top ten's I look forward to but I also thought I should add those I hope would be at E3 since it's E3 really soon. :) I can change the title to something like Top 10 Anticipated Games of 2012-2013 (Before E3)? Because I kinda thought it would be cool to see Top ten before E3 and see the change after E3.

  • I'm surprised last of us isn't here.

Well, I think the last of us will be amazing. But sadly, I am not into ps3 games anymore. So I don't look forward to it. But I know it will be good. ;)

  • I must be the only one that was disappointed with the Far Cry series...Also yes, like others I would've had added the Last of Us

"No, I buy you out, you don't buy me out".
