I don't remember my first game, as I was just a wee lad that hadn't even started school yet. The first game I remember playing is the original Super Mario Bros on NES.

I was really little. I think it was a floppy disc bean game. My first game that I played that was mine to keep was Pokémon Gold on the GBC.
Game Boy Color Pokemon Silver Edition. Then Super Mario Bros.
thanks and lulz, tsizzle98
Sonic 1. It was on my brother's Genesis and from then on I was hooked. Too bad that Sonic has fallen on tough times recently (ahem, I mean since Sonic Adventure at the latest) what with the quality of his games being all bipolar...
Lame Halo 3 Joke No 1: Why did Regret accidentally refer to the Master Chief as the Heretic? Because he was standing right next to the Demon at the time!"And not even your DEMON will creep from the Earth, blackened and...." blah blah blah... nuclear annihilation whatever... Prophet of regret, Halo 3
I used to be Kman5231, by the way...
Ever? Well that would have to be Cruising USA. I couldn't even tell you what console it was on. I didn't play video games very much as a kid nor through out school. But after I graduated I was I lived with my sister and her family. Her husband was a video game nerd. One day while he was working I picked up Oblivion and started playing. I fell in love with the game. Oblivion turned in to Call of Duty 4. Which turned out to make me the biggest nerd I know yet! = )
The earliest I remember is Duck Hunt, but I vaguely remember playing something on Atari before then.
If you count school PC games Number Munchers, and Out Numbered were early ones too. Lol.
A zombie ate my signature.
I think it was Mario on the NES, but it may have been something before that and I just can't remember.

The Oregon Trail, on the computer at my elementary school. It was either that or a cheap handheld electronic Battleship game.
The first console game I played was Super Mario Sunshine, at one of those demo kiosks they have in stores.
