The lights are on
Summer almost here, which means more time for being with family, outdoors, and especially videogames. Some of my goals are 1. Earn my first platinum trophy 2. to play and beat ghost recon future soldier, starhawk, spec ops line, and finish portal 2 3. preorder assassin creed 3, meal of honor: warfighter, and black ops 2. I'l be updating my progress of my big summer gaming every now and then, and posting if I start a new challenge or quiting one. But what about everyone else. What do you have planed to do in gaming this summer?
P.S: I'm going to try to rent/play Grand theft auto IV
I'll probably be stuck in Skyrim again, that is if the DLC comes out by then.
As for gaming, I'm trying to get through my backlog before new games come out in the fall/2013. My sister watched me play through the Uncharted series, so I'm watching her play now/helping if needed. Of course we'll be playing more of the Uncharted multiplayer with our cousin eventually, who just got his own PS3 and Drake's Fortune.

For me there will be Diablo III, Max Payne 3, and maybe the new Ghost Recon, depending on how well it reviews. And if the Skyrim DLC makes it before the end of summer, I'm sure I'll check that out as well.
Beyond that I have a pretty big backlog that includes Assassin's Creed: Revelations, The Witcher 2, Alan Wake and its DLC counterpart, Metro 2033, and I'd like to play through Darksiders again before the sequel.
That's quite a bit but considering there's no other real big releases until August, it seems do-able.

Playing Minecraft, Sims 3, and Skyrim. I will also be looking for a new DS cheap to replace mine that was trashed. My dad stepped on it when it was open and I superglued which clouded the screen and now the battery doesn't hold a charge. I'm afraid I will never complete the backstory on Pokémon black/white

For me, I still have Skyrim to finish, I've been playing Battlefield 3 like usual, and I still have 20 more games in my Steam library that I need to get to before Guild Wars 2 comes out.
I hope to get a PSVita on the 1st. If so I am going to spend the summer building my Vita library. If not I am going to collect and beat as many PSP games as I can. Before they get rid of them all.
I'm gonna be playing a lot of Battlefield 3 and Skyrim. I'll also jump back into Arkham City.
Here's my progress: I have enough to buy a few of the 4 games to beat, and a little to preoder. I have 70%on madden 12. Need 9 more trophies.
My Summer will be spent clearing through my backlog (including but not limited to: Secret of Monkey Island 2, Anachronox, Fallout 2, Arcanum, Planescape Torment, Baldur's Gate 2, Broken Sword, Crusader No Remorse, Max Payne 1, 2, and 3, and more), I also intend on replaying some PS2 favorites of mine like MGS2 MGS3, Beyond Good and Evil, and others. Once Torchlight 2 hits though, that's all I'll be playing.
EDIT: With my recent purchase of the Humble Indie Bundle I have about 5 more games I wholeheartedly plan on beating this Summer. I am currently scaring myself nightly with Amnesia and will probably finish it soon. Then I just have Bastion, Braid, The Lone Survivor, and possibly replay Psychonauts.
I'm definitely going to get and play some games that are actually coming out this summer, including Lollipop Chainsaw, Kingdom Hearts 3D, and Sleeping Dogs. Usually summertime is a video game drought before getting showered with games of the fall. Nice to see 2012 buck this trend.

2. Get to 17,000 gamerscore
3. Beat LittleBigPlanet
4. Beat Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
5. Beat all the other games in my backlog.

I want to replay Bioshock, Uncharted 3, Bully, GTA 4, the infamous series, Red Dead Redemption, Metro 2033 and the Assassin's Creed series. I also need to finish AC Revelations, L.A. Noire, more of Skyrim, The Walking Dead and I Am Alive.I also want to finish preordering Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, AC 3. That's all I can think of at the moment. Also if I could break 40000 gamerscore that would be nice. as of right now I have started Bioshock. Uncharted 3, Infamous, AC Revelations, L.A. Noire, Skyrim, The Walking Dead and I am Alive. Althoug I am Alive is the only one that I have more then 50% finished in.
