The lights are on
What shooter is currently the most fun to you?
For me its Section 8: Prejudice. I haven't played it in a long time until today, this game is really fun. MAG is close to death and I'm tired of it after hundreds of hours, Killzone 3 annoying to me in so many ways, Battlefield 3's realistic environments is really bland and boring to me. I remembered I had Section 8: Prejudice; a game where I smash through atmospheres and slam down on extreme environments like volcanic planets and basically spawn anywhere on the map. I fly around with a jetpack, run super fast, the game has an amazing sense of mobility. The maps are large, and have big 32 player battles. There is a pretty awesome system where you can install all sorts of things like anti-airs to prevent enemies from spawning in certain areas, turrets, and even call down vehicles. It has fun modes; a horde mode, a TDM mode with side missions to get points, a conquest mode to take control points, and an attack/defend mode.
It doesn't have the most guns, best graphics, most customization, most maps, it isn't the most realistic game, doesn't have the biggest maps, doesn't have the most vehicles, but this game is the most fun shooter to me right now.
I never played the prejudice one but I thought the first one was decent for it being a downloadable game its fun. For the moment I would have to say MW3 and that is very sad becasuse there is so much wrong with the game it's pathetic. Next it would be Black ops 2 when it comes out because I really enjoyed the first one.
I'm greatly enjoying Battlefield 3 right now, especially with clan mates as well. I'm looking to Tribes: Ascend as that is a really fun game to play, and later on this year I'm going to be looking forward to Hawken. Blacklight Retribution seems pretty interesting as well, although I haven't played it yet.
MW3

operation racoon city......yep, believe it or not there is fun to be had with it
Beer is the answer, but I can't remember the question.
Does Mass Effect count? Its 3rd person, but I'd say combat is just as good, if not better, than any FPS I've played
Halo.
I wish there was a demo for Racoon City, I've been meaning to try it.
bulletstorm!
check out my blog!
Rainheart, I'll never forget you.
CoD: Black Ops. Just the sound and feel of connecting with the target gets me everytime. Also, its buggy-ness makes having successful, smooth rounds that much more rewardingly fun
Bulletstorm was, hands-own, the most ball-out fun I've had with an FPS title.
I hope they still want to make a sequel, regardless of the first one not exactly being profitable.
I have been playing alot of Mass Effect 3 online and off.
Currently its a tie one of the games i played is Halo reach. I remembered I was a huge halo fan and after countless days of MW3, I missed halo and am glad to start playing it again. I tried battlefield 3 and found out the game's soundtrack and campaign was fantastic but the multiplayer was not for me.I agree that section 8 predudice is a great game but sadly I do nto only I just played someone elses section 8.Mag sounded like a great Idea untill I realised that having 100 ADS' of potential pros on gigantic maps was not as fun as I hoped it would be..So now I rotate between Halo Reach and MW3 which I guess makes me a popular gaming fanboy of sorts.
timesplitters 2 and 3
never played the first. hope they make a 4th.
timesplitters= goldeneye on drugs. not really sure how else to explain it.
