Slavery: The Game trailer surfaces. Hoax or actual game?

Supposedly, a developer named Javelin Reds Gaming is making an RTS game called Slavery: The Game in which you try and become the worlds most powerful and wealthy slavetrader. What's stirring controversy is that at the end of the trailer, the PS3 and Xbox 360 logos are there, so people are wondering if the game is actually real or not. I don't know what t think of this. There's a website for it and an expected date of 2012 for the game. Of course any super troll can make this trailer and throw it out there but we don't know anything yet besides the trailer that came out. If this game is real, well, expect a lot of *** to go down in the coming months or maybe even month. Here's your trailer ladies and girls.

Don't know if this will help but someone on YouTube said

'oh, and the supposed creators of this: 'Javelin Reds' is an anagram of 'de slavernij' which is dutch for 'the slavery'. So it's some crazy dutchies that are hoaxing you.'

I'm going to go ahead and say, fake. For one because in reality whoever would have their name tied to the project would be branded for their entire career... and secondly because the bit of "interface footage" with the "in-game items" was not convincing in the slightest. One has to wonder why anyone would be compelled to do this, joke or real project...

It's fake. Or it's a flash game. No one would get a license to develop on 360/PS3 with a title like that.

I assume fake, really unlikely that a game like that would be released on consoles. Or a flash game, like kebe said.

Yeah, while I am inclined to say real due to the logos, I just don't see where there would be a market for a game like this. Plus it would never see a release here due to the rating. But if it is fake and those logos were used without permission, whoever made it is going to have a giant sh*tstorm on their hands.

That's what I'm saying. It should be fake but why would someone use Sony and Microsofts logos? Are they that stupid to not think about the bad coming from using another company's logos? You would think they wouldn't put any systems on the trailer if it were fake. I'm confused with all this mumbo-jumbo.

It's a fake. The Escapist also did an article on this a few days ago, and I thought they said they couldn't find the website or something. And besides, Microsoft and Sony would not let a game like this be published on their consoles because of the backlash they would receive. If this was a hoax, then I'm sure the people that made this video got exactly what they wanted: to troll you.

Totally fake, but I would like to see a game about slavery. Of course it would need to be on a fantasy world, with slave and slave-masters neither being black or white. But fighting as a runaway slave would be fun.

If it was real, not one publisher would even think about publishing it. There would be more lawsuits than they could imagine and would get games a REALLY bad media reputation
