Omg I'm in the same situation :D My iPod Touch 4g 8gb is having serious wi-fi problems. I really liked it, having access to apple apps is (was) great, but I think that apple is seriously being left behind. Devices like Samsung Galaxy S3, Note, some HTC's etc. are the ones who left apple behind. I'm now considering the Galaxy Note, because it has not much deficiency when compared to S3, and it has bigger screen with the ability to use a pen. Definitely a winner IMO. As far as PS Vita goes, I'd really like one, but I say now's not the time to buy it, as both the number of games are very limited since it's still new, and it is not a possibility that its price rises, on the contrary, over time until all of those great games such as LBP for Vita (reasons to buy one) come out, I reckon the price will be lower, at least on some sites and pre-owned.

Hmmm... I don't know. The PS Vita doesn't have a lot of great games out right now, but In a few months we could see a new iPod Touch. I'd go with PS Vita and keep saving for the Touch or just keep saving up for both. If you really use your Touch then you could go with replacing that, but it's been awhile since Apple's given out something new so a 5th gen could be on the way.

Yeah exactly, it's better to wait right now. Or I can suggest you what I'm doing; I'm looking for a good projector for my PS3 for awesome gameplay experience, and if you don't have a PS3 you should get one instead of them haha.

I would say that you should buy the iPod now, and wait to get a Vita. Hopefully by then, there will be a price reduction on the Vita and it will have more games.

If you're primarily using your mobile device for gaming, I would say Vita all the way. However, if you a deeply vested in Apple's ecosystem and have a bunch of apps on your iTouch that you couldn't live without, I'd go with a new iPod.

always the vita over the ipod touch, if for no other reason than the fact that you can use the music unlimited ap. If anyone has a router that a device that wont connect to an aging router anymore though the first thing I would do is try a newer router because it could just be a compatibility issue

Hey Chris, If you're going for gaming and/or graphics, go for the vita, however, with an ipod touch, you can get some pretty good games, and also do a whole bunch of other things (get movie tickets, etc.), and also as you know, apple has more apps than sony, i have both, (well, 4th gen ipod, but not much different), I like my ipod because i can use it for so many things, but i like my vita because the things it CAN do are a whole lot better than the ipod. Wifi wise, go for the ipod
