The lights are on
*off the record* I don't like it cuz I find it boring and very repetitive with little to no progress in the last few years. I've played through MW2 and Black Ops I didn't like them, imo it takes no skill cuz you respawn soon after with no penalty and it's more of a free for all from what I've seen maybe i would've liked it if it required co-op.
Not in my opinion. However this new Black Ops II looks BA

I'll probably try Black Ops 2 out because it's taking COD in a slightly different direction. Maybe it'll bring my love for the series back, but I doubt there would be a change big enough for me to like it again.
1 Peter 3:15 (NASB): "But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence."
I like all the old COD games and i play black ops1 and MW3 but idt ill play blackops2 for awhile because all of the rich kids/ hackers will be playing that one none stop for awhile and i actually like to enjoy playing video games and not get angry at all the hackers and nube tubers and other ppl like them.
I used to be a COD fan also, the game was fun I mostly played for the single player but its way too short and obviously the multiplayer is where its at, but honestly instead of churning out these games year after year they should just keep creating maps and present them as DLC this way the game that you have stays new with the new maps and they keep making their money. But they won't do that.
I do not like the series and never have. (The very 1st one on PC was kind of cool) I don't think it is fun at all. I also do not like the business model at all. It is exploitative and hurts the development of new original series. I am somewhat of a Battlefield fan, but to be completely honest I do not like 3, the newest one at all. Love 2, 2142, and BC2 though.
its a repetitive game and every new one is the basically the same as the last... :-(
Call of Duty 4 was great. Anything after that I did not like.
All the Call Of Duty games are great, except for maybe World At War, and that is just because the WWII guns weren't very fun to use. Call Of Duty 4 is the best COD, with Black Ops II being a close second
I used to like COD too but like many have stated they got very repetitive and rather bland. The first two, as in the ww2 ones, were awesome and I have fond memories of them. I think they really hurt the industry and what sells in the gaming markets. Its fine people like them and all I personally just don't see why and why critics seem to like them so much. Then again if I reviewed the same game I liked multiple times, I doubt the review would change much.
